I'm going to be a grandma come mid summer! Our first grandchild! We are excited and cannot wait. I'd given up on having any as one son and his wife have been married 18 years this summer and no children; our other son and his wife are married 9 years this past February, but at Christmas, gave us an ornament that said " Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa! See you in 2025!" I couldn't believe it-finally!

We are excited for our grand baby! We found out a couple or 3 weeks ago that it's a girl- a break in what was a long line of only boys; 4+ generations! I've started looking for things to get her and actually found something today that I will order for her in a few weeks. It's a stuffed lamb that plays music and projects starts up on the ceiling. It's so sweet looking. Granted, not something for her to play with, but it could help to sooth at night. I've got some other ideas as well. I've never had the opportunity to buy for a grandchild before! This is going to be fun!
