that noon time sun was really promising! i felt winter was over and spring was finally here, gone is the cold cold and here comes the warm cold. it was pretty warm, 19 degrees celsius. i don't know if this will continue for days, but today was really a good day to have a walk. we decided to have lunch in nearby kita senju, i had mazesoba.
mazesoba was a noodle dish, a soupless dish where you mix all ingredients thoroughly before enjoying the dish. but just look at that volume, it was just too much. it was delicious but i had a hard time consuming everything. and because of that, we walked it out a bit.
the nearby mall was a great spot to stall time. i don't know if this policeman agrees with me but he was just there chilling in front as well. i wanted to discreetly take a picture of him when a group passed by in front of him, what a bad timing. it would be too obvious if i stayed and retake the picture.
walking around this town was just fascinating, and this cute pikachu printed volkswagen was just an icing. it was eye catching, with all that bright yellows. it was a head turner, people kept looking at it and its driver. if it were you, would you dare to drive this vehicle? i know i would, but i don't know how to.
on the way home, we passed by this park near the river. this time, children were playing in it. it feels good to see children play in the park, that was the main intention of parks to begin with. it felt great so see kids still playing out in the sun, away from all the gadgets and technologies in the current age. it was a joy to see that children still know how to play outside.
moving on, we reached this bridge area. it looked so gloomy at night, it looked a tad bit better in the day. glad to see the clean river, i notice some floating plastics when i do my nightwalks around this area sometimes. that blue sky with the green grass and some water beneath it is just so precious to look at. it really felt like spring is here, time to go out of hibernation. if this were an rpg, i guess this exploration gave me a one up to my hp, it felt so good to be alive.
crossing the bridge, i immediately grabbed my phone when i saw bicycles. as thought, taking shots of moving bicycles are easier in daylight, no extra blur and no extra lens stabilization needed. everything looked crisp. glad this picture came out fine even though it was shot without preparation. that sun was not harsh at all, it was so fun walking outside in this weather. hope this continues.
i eventually reached home still on a full stomach. that lunch noodles was really so much for me, no wonder they had a "mini" size. i thought my "small" serving would be fine, but it was still too much. i wonder how the "large" serving looks like.
as always, AMPING KANUNAY!
