Oh my — I did not intend to disappear for nearly two weeks! But I literally went off the grid, which was a fun change. I will write some posts about my trip, but for now I’m just going to write a good old fashioned Actifit post and share some pictures from yesterday’s trail walk — the first one since I returned day before yesterday.
I love that shot of the trail because it frames the scene, and creates a hole through which a runner seems to disappear.
We are blessed to have such a wonderful walking space right nearby!
My husband and I arrived at the marina with the sun setting rapidly, as the days are already getting shorter!
I watched the sun slip down below the tree line. Then the sky turned a delicious persimmon color.
Some geese posed for me in a picturesque fashion.
It was time to head back to our car. A funny thing happened on the way back. I took a picture of two cyclists come our way with their lights on, in case it might make an interesting addition to my blog post and it turned out to be two friends of ours!
