Cold Night Run

First Run of 2024

I've been very exhausted of my recent trip in Ha Giang loop in Vietnam last month. When I came back here in Taiwan, I decided to not do any workout for a while to let my body recover.

It has been over a month now, I just let myself eat lots of delicious foods, ice cream, and chocolates. But I started to feel the depression kicking in. I knew it is the sign that I have to push my self back to my regular routine and exercise.

After work, it was 17°C outside but it isn't raining as usual so I thought it is a good chance for me to drag myself to the track.

Here is my record in strava. I covered more than 5km in an hour, which is not bad given that I just bummed for a month.

I still can run but itis getting late, and I'm also feeling bored that I keep on thinking what to eat after my workout. I am really CRAVING FOR CHAMPORADO. A Filipino chocolate rice porridge.

But I just don't know where to get the ingredients to cook it here in Taiwan. I tried to push my luck if 7Eleven sell an instant chocolate rice porridge. But they don't have, so pick my favorite Sichuan Style Spicy Mapo Tofu with Fried Chicken Nuggets! It beats the cold for real.
