I played the red course at the disc golf resort that we are playing in a tourament this weekend at. I lost by a point with the scores at: +3, +4, and +18. I was pretty happy with the way I played since I had six birdies. I did end up taking a few too many chances and went out of bounds a lot, and that hurt my score.
It was windy and colder today, and that made the discs fly a bit differently. I'm not sure if I hit too many trees with some of my drivers or what, but I was having trouble turning discs over too much. I might need to make some adjustments for the winter weather, but I'm not sure of exactly what to do. For now, I've added another stable disc and removed one that was inadvertently rolling on me.
Spider:
This spider made its nest right in the doorway. I had to mess it up just a bit to get in and out, but it shouldn't be too hard to repair.

That Spider looks big, it scares my wife a lot, we always see them at home, smaller of course. I am glad that you are happy with your good puck play, despite not being favored by time. I wish you much success. Thank you for your visits to my publications.
There are a lot of big spiders around here this time of year. There are a lot of blackberries and other fruit ripening that attract fruit flies. The spiders seem to be eating well right now.
Spiders are very popular insects worldwide, here in Venezuela we call the big ones cute spiders, very dangerous, not only are they in fruit trees, they are also very dangerous for the body. Greetings and thank you for your positive evaluation of my posh. Successes.
This make me to remember the incident that happens to me after watching Spiderman. I just suddenly noticed I was afraid of spider
A lot of people are afraid of spiders. My son is afraid of them too. He always wants me to remove them from the house.
Yea. Oh hope your son conquer the fear of spider soon
Windy weather is indeed very influential for this game, the important thing is that you can still enjoy the game
It's a unique spider, and yes they will have no trouble repairing their webs
It's definitely a fun day for you and your friends to play freely there, even though the weather is a bit windy which results in you losing points with your friends, but this is also good for practicing the habit of playing in windy weather.
Is the spider's nest blocking your way? maybe he's comfortable there
The spider web is blocking the door just a bit. I can go underneath the web but I worry a bit about breaking the web and having the spider drop on me. It is nothing that I can't handle though and I am very careful.
Never let your mind down. Maybe something good is waiting for you but it takes time. Keep practicing. Never stop practicing. Never let your mind down.
At the same time the photography of the spider is amazing. I think you have taken the first picture through another site of glass, which is why the picture is so beautiful and in contact with the sky.
I really enjoy being out on the disc golf course so it is easy for me to get a lot of practice in.
It was a bit difficult to get the camera to focus on the spider. I kept getting the background in focus and the spider out of focus.
Nice shot of the insect I also like looking at insects
I heard you lost by one point on the weekend tour, but played really well and tried your best, and the spider looks very unique and beautiful and you took some really cool angles.
It is truly impressive to see your enthusiasm for playing disc golf. Even though he lost narrowly, achieving six birdies was an achievement to be proud of. It's true that changeable weather can be a challenge, and the changes you make to your disc collection show that your involvement in improving the game is commendable. Anyway, keep practicing and have a positive spirit for the upcoming tournament. Good luck for the future!
And thanks for sharing with us your cool little spider photography!
Thank you. It is always fun for me to be out on the disc golf course. I'm getting better at enjoying the competition. The weather can be very difficult to deal with but it does add a lot of interesting variations to the game.
Now, that's a giant spider. Their webs are always stiff and hard to break.
Not sure what kind of spider this is.....🤔
Last year I got bit by a hobo spider, they can do some nasty damage… Infection lasted for a month!!
Sounds like the stable disc, was a good improvement!😄
Looks like tomorrow's going to be sunny have a great day my friend!
Sometimes I get bit by stuff but don't know what bit me. I don't think I've experienced spider bites lately. Sounds like we might be in for some rain by the weekend.
Do you still play if it’s more than a misting rain?😅
Usually, there are no rain delays in the tournaments around here. I have some gear that helps a bit with keeping things dry. If it rains hard enough there is no getting over having some difficulties with grip though. If I'm not playing in a tournament I usually am more of a fair-weather player. Sometimes I will play in the rain though if it has been raining for an extended period and I feel the need to get outside.
I guess that’s the way it goes up here in the northwest, nothing stops for rain Lol!😅😊
The spider looks like it's floating in space. You have photographed the spider very nicely.
