El despertador sonó temprano en la madrugada, y mientras me estiraba bajo las sábanas, escuché el suave repiqueteo de la lluvia en el tejado. La lluvia ligera fue creciendo poco a poco, y me envolvió en una sensación de comodidad que me permitió dormir profundamente. Aunque los pronósticos del clima ya habían advertido sobre la lluvia, no pude evitar alegrarme por la frescura que traía consigo.
Salí de casa a las 6 de la mañana para ir al trabajo. Sin embargo, al llegar, me encontré con un inesperado obstáculo: ¡no había luz! Como parte del equipo de soporte técnico, me vi en una situación peculiar. Sin nada a lo que dar soporte, pasé un rato en la oficina sin hacer mucho. Finalmente, la electricidad regresó y pude proseguir con mis tareas rutinarias.
The alarm clock went off early in the morning, and as I stretched out under the covers, I heard the gentle patter of rain on the roof. The light rain gradually grew heavier and heavier, and enveloped me in a sense of comfort that allowed me to sleep soundly. Although the weather forecasts had already warned of rain, I couldn't help but be glad for the coolness it brought.
I left home at 6 a.m. to go to work. However, when I arrived, I encountered an unexpected obstacle: there was no power! As part of the technical support team, I found myself in a peculiar situation. With nothing to support, I spent some time in the office doing nothing much. Eventually, the power came back on and I was able to continue with my routine tasks.
Al mediodía, tuve que dirigirme a la universidad. Las clases esperaban, pero al llegar allí, me encontré con la misma situación: ¡tampoco había luz! Parece que la lluvia había afectado varias zonas de la ciudad. A pesar de todo, los profesores nos encontraron y nos informaron sobre los temas que debíamos investigar. Después de eso, nos dejaron ir.
De vuelta en casa, me sentí tranquilo. No había hecho mucho durante el día, pero la atmósfera nublada y agradable me reconfortó. Al menos, cumplí con mis obligaciones, y al fin y al cabo, eso es lo más importante.
At noon, I had to go to the university. Classes were waiting, but when I got there, I found the same situation: there was no light either! It seems that the rain had affected several areas of the city. In spite of everything, the professors met us and briefed us on the topics we were to research. After that, they let us go.
Back at home, I felt calm. I hadn't done much during the day, but the cloudy and pleasant atmosphere comforted me. At least I fulfilled my obligations, and after all, that is the most important thing.
