Hey Actifitters,
One again yesterday I didn't want to just work and stay lazy, so in the afternoon, we went for a long walk with Sam. The main idea was to visit a couple of relatives, so it was mostly boring local streets, but it's always nice to find these big open spaces without any houses or buildings, at least not yet. It's not that rare back home in the US, but it's pretty rare here.
On the way back, we tried a few detours through small forest paths.
It led us to this small pond where ducks were hanging out quietly.
Guess what Sam was doing when he was finally off-leash?... This dog is almost impossible to photograph without being blurry... At least, we know he's having fun!
They started replanting trees, it will be pretty cool when they get bigger.
And of course, like many small villages in the area, the old church is at the top.
Well, I think we did okay with just above 20k steps. When I'm here, getting to 20k is a challenge so yay!!

It's not too bad for open spaces, but compared to when I was younger, it's getting bad with new houses getting built everywhere with almost no yard space. At least, back home, there's still plenty of space, even if we're just minutes from Detroit. I can understand the 'crowded' feeling you mention, I don't think I could go back to full city living.
Sam gets a sporty vacation when I am around !lolz
