I woke up feeling a bit off for some reason despite having a pretty good night of sleep as I caught up on some rest given the busy week so far. It was as if I was getting sick as my nose and throat were not at its best. This was unexpected as I had a similar issue only a week or two ago and catching something back to back is unusual for me. It made me think about my workout in the morning so I decided to take a couple of meetings from work first.
While the situation did not improve, it also did not get worse so I decided to head outside for my long run of the week late morning. I kept the pace low to remain within Zones 2 and 3 but extended the time by 5 minutes. The result was a similar distance that previous long runs but a bit more time. The last mile was definitely a struggle as I could feel that something was off. This impacted the rest of my morning despite some catch up on hydration and food quickly. It delayed my trigger session starts and my core training workout which had to wait for the evening to get done in order to not push it too much. I will have to monitor things carefully as the weekend approaches.

I completely understand that feeling of something being "off."It's tough to push through workouts when you're not feeling 100%.Good job prioritizing your health and adjusting your routine accordingly.Rest up and get better soon!
