Hi there! I'm back once again after taking some time to get back into the swing of things, getting over a slight malaise and having enjoyed what I think will be the only vacation I have until the end of the summer. I really want to be able to get away again for a little while, especially with the upcoming #HiveFest relatively close, but, realistically, I see it quite complicated.

Anyway while I finish landing, I think I better live a little what I have at hand before rushing off to a new destination. Today I wanted to share something that happened yesterday and motivated me to go for a walk despite the fact that I could see a storm coming.

I had a good time resting in front of the TV after lunch, when I got a little distracted on social networks, watching the adventures of some YouTubers from Zaragoza >> Mike & Mery TV - Travel couple << that I love. Travel, tips and a lot of naturalness make me feel very identified with them in their way of traveling.

It turns out that recently one of the components of the couple, Mike Aquarium, shared the illusion of having written a book that would be released soon.

They have already started the tour presenting it, starting in Madrid and next week it will be the turn of their hometown, Zaragoza. That idea excited me, because I have been lucky enough to meet them a couple of times in the city and they are lovely people. I checked that the event will be next Tuesday but I saw in their stories that they had passed by one of the bookstores in the city, where the book was not sold out, leaving a couple of copies with a dedicated bookmark.

That made me think that instead of spending more time lying on the couch, I could take the chance to check if I was fortunate enough to be one of the few to get one of these books that came with a surprise included. I checked the weather and told myself that it would be just a bunch of clouds hiding the sun, although I took my umbrella just in case, but I didn't think much more about it.

Estoy de vuelta una vez más luego de tomarme un tiempo para retomar la rutina, dar se de un leve malestar y haber disfrutado lo que me parecen que serán las únicas vacaciones que tenga hasta que finalice el verano. Tengo muchas ganas de poder escaparme de nuevo un ratito, sobre todo teniendo el próximo #HiveFest relativamente cerca, pero, siendo realistas, lo veo bastante complicado.

De todas formas mientas termino de aterrizar, creo que mejor vivir un poco lo que tengo a mano antes de salir corriendo a un nuevo destino. Hoy quería relatar algo que sucedió ayer y que me motivo a salir a caminar un buen rato a pesar de que se veía venir una tormenta.
Tenía buen rato descansando frente a la tv después de comer, cuando me distraje un poco en redes sociales, viendo las aventuras de unos YouTubers zaragozanos >> Mike & Mery TV - Travel couple << que me encantan. Viajes, consejos y mucha naturalidad hacen que me sienta muy identificados con ellos en su forma de viajar.

Pues resulta que hace poco tiempo uno de los componentes de la pareja, Mike Aquarium, compartió la ilusión de haber escrito un libro que saldría a l venta muy pronto.

Ya han comenzado la gira presentándolo, comenzando en Madrid y está próxima semana será el turno de su ciudad de origen, Zaragoza. Esa idea me emociono, pues he tenido la suerte de coincidir en la ciudad con ellos un par de veces y son personas encantadoras. Comprobé que el evento será el próximo martes pero vi en sus historias que había pasado por una de las librerías de la ciudad, en donde no estaba agotado el libro, dejando un par de ejemplares con un marca libros dedicado.

Eso me hizo pensar que en vez de estar más tiempo tirada en el sofá, podía aprovechar de comprobar si tenía suerte y podía ser una de las afortunadas en quedarse con uno de estos libros que venían con sorpresa incluida. Revise el tiempo y me dije que sería solo un montón de nubes ocultando el sol, aunque me lleve el paraguas por si acaso, pero no lo pensé mucho más.

To be honest, it wasn't even 20 minutes after I started my walk when it started to rain. I didn't worry, I opened the umbrella and tried to take some interesting pictures, when it drizzles there are always beautiful shapes that reflect the light and give amazing pictures. But just as I got into it, the rain became much stronger and I had to try to be more careful not to get too wet, these rains in Zaragoza were accompanied by a strong wind, so it was difficult to cover myself completely.

A few steps ahead, I decided to change the plan, my shoes were almost soaked and I still had a long way to go, so I stopped at the bus stop to take shelter while I waited the 5 minutes left for the bus to arrive and continue my way in that transport.

Well, that wasn't my initial plan because the idea was to do many more steps, but I didn't want to catch a cold either, I just got out of a few days sick and I needed some rest. But the bus was a good idea, because the rain got much worse, although it lasted rather short, so in the last half of the way by bus, it had already poured.

Para ser sincera no pasaron ni 20 minutos, desde que inicie mi caminata, cuando empezó a llover. No me preocupé, abrí el paraguas e intenté buscar hacer alguna foto interesante, cuando llovizna siempre hay formas bonitas que reflejan la luz y salen fotos increíbles. Pero tan solo al ponerme en ello, la lluvia tomo mucha más fuerza y tuve que intentar tener más cuidado para no mojarme demasiado, estas lluvias en Zaragoza venían acompañadas de un fuerte viento, por lo que era difícil cubrirse totalmente.

Unos pasos más adelante, decidí cambiar el plan, Lis zapatos estaban casi empapados y me quedaba mucho camino aún, así que me detuve en la parada de bus para resguardarme mientras esperaba los 5 minutos que faltaban para que llegara y continuar el camino en ese transporte.

Bueno, ese no era mi plan inicial porque la idea era hacer muchos más pasos, pero tampoco quería resfriarme, acabo de salir de unos días enferma y necesito un poco de descanso. Pero el bus fue buena idea, porque empeoró mucho la lluvia, aunque duró más bien poco, así que en la última mitad del camino en bus, ya había escampado.

I took a couple of pictures from the bus window, I had heard that the Rio Ebro has been very low these days, so I was glad for the rain, it's making a very rare and changeable weather, but I think that water is never too much, especially in summer.

Since the rain didn't last long, I got off a couple of stops before reaching my destination and kept walking, some steps I had to do, because although I hoped to be able to make the walk back, I knew it wouldn't be too much exercise in the end.

I also didn't hold back on taking photos that would allow me to document the beauty along with the rain, I got me some flowers that adorn the plaza near the main theater and got the souvenir I wanted of nature on that day. I think they look beautiful.

Hice un par de fotos desde la ventana del bus, había escuchado que el Rio Ebro ha estado muy bajito estos días, así que me alegre por la lluvia, esta haciendo un clima muy raro y cambiante, pero creo que el agua nunca sobra, mucho menos en verano.

Como la lluvia no duró mucho, me baje un par de paradas antes de llegar a mi destino y seguí caminando, algo de pasos tenía que hacer, porque aunque esperaba poder hacer el regreso caminando, sabía que no sería demasiado ejercicio al final.

Tampoco me quede con las ganas de hacer alguna foto que me permitiera documentar la belleza junto a la lluvia, me conseguí unas flores que adornan la plaza cerca del teatro principal y obtuve el recuerdo que quería de la naturaleza en ese día. Creo que se ven bonitas.

The good thing about having advanced a little by bus, is that I arrived earlier than planned, I was worried about losing the opportunity to find some of the special copies signed by the author. But on the way I checked that the General Bookstore closes between 13:30 and 17:00 h, so doing the math, there wouldn't have been time for anyone to buy them, because they left them signed just before closing at 13:00 h. Yes, I am a little freaky fangirl with some things, a few, but it does happen to me.

In fact I was creating crazy stories in my head, thinking that everyone was going in that direction with the same intention as me and that if I took too long I was going to be left without the book. When you're thinking a lot about something, you think everything revolves around it. I was thankful that it was raining because that would make other people with the same objective as me, not dare to leave the house, I know I'm exaggerating, this is a new writer and a small town, but I was having fun running against the weather.

I arrived 10min before the bookstore opened and looked suspiciously at anyone who was waiting like me, although most of them were just sheltering from the rain under the roof in front of the bookstore. Hahaha how silly I can be sometimes.

The sales clerks are very punctual, at 16:57 they turned on the lights and it wasn't until 17 o'clock that they opened the doors, no delays, something I really like. One girl had tried to open the door when they turned on the lights, it was closed and her disappointment made her walk away a bit, in the end I didn't know if she would have gone looking for the same thing as me, I didn't give her time to come back and check.

Lo bueno de haber avanzado un poco en bus, es que llegue antes de lo planeado, me preocupaba perder la oportunidad de encontrar alguno de los ejemplares especiales firmados por el autor. Pero en el camino revisé que la Librería General cierra entre las 13:30 y las 17:00 h, así que haciendo cuentas, no habría dado tiempo a que alguien los comprara, pues los dejaron firmados justo antes de cerrar a las 13. Sí, un poco freaky fangirl soy con algunas cosas, pocas, pero sí me pasa.

De hecho estaba creándome historias locas en la cabeza, pensando que todo el mundo iba en esa dirección con la misma intención que yo y que si tardaba demasiado me iba a quedar sin el libro. Uno cuando está pensando mucho en algo, cree que todo gira en torno a ello. Agradecí que estuviese lloviendo porque eso haría que otras personas con el mismo objetivo que yo, no se atrevieran a salir de casa, ya sé que estoy exagerando, se trata de un escritor novel y de una ciudad pequeña, pero yo me estaba divirtiendo corriendo contra el tiempo.

Llegue 10min antes de que abriera la librería y miraba con desconfianza a cualquiera que estuviese esperando igual que yo, aunque la mayoría estaban sólo resguardándose de la lluvia bajo el techo frente a esta. Jajaja que tonta puedo ser a veces.

Las dependientas son muy puntuales, a ls 16:57 encendieron la luces y no fue hasta las 17 en punto que abrieron las puertas, sin retrasos, algo que me gusta mucho. Una chica había intentado abrir la puerta cuando encendieron las luces, estaba cerrada y su decepción la hizo alejarse un poco, al final no supe si habría ido buscando lo mismo que yo, no di tiempo a que volviera y fijarme.

My purchase was super fast, I don't think it didn't even take me two minutes to leave with my surprise edition. It was very exciting to open the book and see that the dedicated bookmark was inside, I had made it hahaha.

I took one, feeling very lucky and told the cashiers that I had been following the author's ad on social networks. They told me that they thought it was a beautiful detail that he had been there leaving that gift, they began to study his photo inside the book and told me to enjoy it very much. The price was 21,90 € and I think it is good for the more than 400 pages it has.

Mi compra fue súper rápida, creo que no tarde ni dos minutos en salir con mi edición sorpresa. Fue muy emocionante abrir el libro y ver que el marca páginas dedicado estaba dentro, lo había logrado jajaja.

Me lleve uno, sintiéndome muy afortunada y les comenté a las cajeras que había ido siguiendo el aviso del autor por redes sociales. Me dijeron que les había parecido un hermoso detalle que él se hubiese pasado por allí dejando ese regalito, se pusieron a estudiar su foto dentro del libro y me dijeron que lo disfrutara mucho. El precio ha sido 21,90 € y creo que está bien para las más de 400 páginas que tiene.

I was in fangirl mode, I've already said it. I was just as worried about doing at least 10k steps as I was about sending the author a picture showing that I had that book signed in my hands hahaha so I went into an ice cream shop that I really like near the bookstore and while I was eating an ice cream I took a nice picture to share it with the author and start getting into the story.

I will have time to do a more complete review of the book and the author, I am sure I will like it, it is about travels, adventures and those situations that life puts us in where we have to reinvent ourselves.

By the way, the author answered me almost immediately, very grateful and extending the invitation to the presentation next Tuesday. I hope to be able to go, it is quite far away but I will try to manage to leave work in time to attend. I'm sure it will be well worth it.

Back to the topic of staying active, I completed the 10k steps, no more, no less hahahaha the rain made it a bit difficult to do more, but better that than not going out at all.

I'm sharing some pictures at the end where I could see how low the level of the river was when I got back home, besides the imposing Basilica del Pilar, which always looks good in photos, no matter what the weather is or what angle you choose. It is a luxury to pass so close to such an impressive construction any day, it never ceases to amaze me, I always stay at least a couple of minutes contemplating it whenever I pass by.

Estaba en modo fangirl, ya lo he dicho. Estaba igual de preocupada por hacer al menos 10k pasos que de enviarle al autor una foto mostrando que tenía ese libro firmado en mis manos jajaja así que entre en una heladería que me gusta mucho cerca de la librería y mientras me comía un helado yo hice un foto bonita para compartirla con el autor y comenzar a adentrarme en la historia.

Ya tendré tiempo de hacer una reseña más completa del libro y el autor, estoy segura que me va a gustar, trata sobre viajes, aventuras y esas situaciones en la que nos pone o vida donde tenemos que reinventarnos.

Por cierto, el autor me respondió casi de inmediato, muy agradecido y extendiendo la invitación a la presentación del próximo martes. Espero poder ir, me queda bastante lejos pero intentaré ingeniármelas para salir con tiempo del trabajo y asistir. Seguro valdrá mucho la pena.

Volviendo al tema de mantenerme activa, cumplí con los 10k steps, ni mas ni menos jajajaja la lluvia me fastidió un poco el poder hacer más, pero mejor eso que no haber salido.

Comparto al final unas fotos donde pude comprobar lo bajo del nivel del Río al volver a casa, además de la imponente Basílica del Pilar, que siempre queda bien en las fotos, sin importar qué clima hace ni qué ángulo elijas. Es un lujo pasar tan cerca de una construcción tan impresionante cualquier día, no deja de sorprenderme, siempre me quedo aunque sea un par de minutos contemplándola cuando paso por allí.
