Hello everyone 👋,

Happy Caturday 🐈, and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's and other furry friends day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain😻 and as always glad you stopped by. It's been a great day and as it fades away, I am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share some of the trending stories. Thank you for reading and let's dive in💨.
So as usual, I kicked off early with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲. A short session but it was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning.
Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a quick stop at the mall for groceries. Next, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube.The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹, It's raining cats 🐈 n dogs 🐕 outside, am hoping the power won't cut off😹.
Globally, another devastating, bloody day in Gaza. 72 people dead in the past 24 hours😿.19 Palestinians killed in Gaza city by Israeli attack on people waiting for aid at the Kuwaiti roundabout where the aid trucks turn. Deaths and injuries also reported in Khan Younis in southern Gaza following Israeli artillery attacks.
The death toll since October 7 is now 32,142😭.
The armed wing of Hamas says a 34 year old Israeli captive has died in Gaza due to lack of medicine and food😿.
Also trending, UN chief, Antonio Guterez visited the Egypt/ Rafa crossing. He called for an end to the war and for Israel to stop blocking aid from entering Gaza.
Meanwhile, American and Jordanian planes continued dropping aid around Gaza as a serious famine looms 🙀.
In Israel, protesters held anti govt rally in Tel Aviv to oppose PM Netanyahu's handling of the war.
In Europe, Russia trending as president Putin announced that Sunday will be day of national mourning😭. This after yesterday's shocking shooting that has now killed 133 civilians😿.
Four gun men have been arrested and Putin has vowed serious revenge on isil who claimed responsibility for that attack.
Across the pond in the US, Biden signed a $1.2 trillion funding package, averting a govt shutdown. Let them print that fiat in trillions, BTC and cryptos are waiting to swallow most of it up😹.
Let's get back to Asia, India trending, as the opposition demanded release of their leader🙀. There were street protests, even as bank accounts of opposition BJP party were frozen.
BTC and cryptos are the way to go in dealing with rogue govt's, let anyone try freeze my hive account or btc/ eth wallets😹.
Also trending, Hong Kong's new security law has come into force amid human rights concerns🙀.
The law popularly known as article 23, gives police powers to cancel passports, detain suspects for up to 16 days without charge among other crazy stuff🙀. Journalists will definitely be in trouble with the increased censorship😿.
Let's wait and see the ramifications of the new law as days go by but Hong Kong will never be the same again.
