As many of you read in yesterday’s post, today Liz and Silvertop were going on the “Hunt”!😺
The Mrs was looking for the “perfect” Lemon tree plant!😊
These trees must be gaining in popularity, Liz found them on Amazon, but they are tiny, and the same cost as our local nursery!😇
Even our local Home Depot is selling these trees!☺️
“Silvertop at “My Nursery” the Lemon trees have lots of buds!”🥰
So it was decided, we were headed to the Nursery!☺️
After almost 44 years being Married to my best friend, you know what she is thinking without any words needed to be spoken!😇
As we walked into the nursery, Liz detoured ……maybe a better word is meandered, into one of the very humid side rooms called the “Jungle”!😳
Lemon trees are NOT to be found in the “Jungle” Lol!🤣
It’s like looking for the perfect Christmas tree to cut, at a tree farm…………
You need to wander for a bit, before you head to your planned destination Lol!😇
Guys, Silvertop didn’t have any plans today, other than chainsawing more firewood, so I was happy to hang out with Liz, as she “hunted”for her perfect tree!😍
Slowly we made our way to the back far left corner on the main greenhouse……
This is where the elusive Lemon trees were to be found!
“Which one do you like Silvertop?”🥰
The two the Mrs picked out, were both very vibrant healthy trees…………
“I like this one Silvertop!”🥰
This was THE one…….this Lemon tree was coming home with us!🤗
Back home, PEPE immediately came outside to check out what we had in the car………….
“Silbertop, Lemon leaves VERY tasty!”🐸
“My green friend, unless you want to be on tonight’s dinner menu, I wouldn’t eat any more Lemon leaves Lol!”😬🤣
“Liz, are Lemon leaves poisonous to Frogs?”😇
