Romanian easter tradition to paint eggs in different colors and endless types of designs, so the big eggs probably just a sign that they are big egg painters in the area. :)))
They look beautiful, how long can you keep eggs around it look like this before they spoil?

They use a technique to empty the eggs, those are just empty shells.
Years ago as a kid I remember people doing this over here as well!
