The weather today was not quite as good as in the last few days. Enough time to do a little DIY project indoors, which recently washed up in my feed. Even though I'm not a big fan of the church, the buildings fascinate me a lot. I'm particularly taken with the colourful leaded glass windows. When the light refracts in them and the bright shapes and colours shimmer inside, there's something magical about it. To show this to my toddler, I tried to imitate the effect at home with tape and window crayons. I'll see if and how well it works the next time the sun shines. The window is certainly an eye-catcher and the kids are thrilled. Below I show a picture of the preparation.

Das Wetter war heute nicht ganz so gut wie in den letzten Tagen. Genug Zeit also, um drinnen ein kleines DIY Projekt umzusetzen, welches neulich in meinen Feed gespült wurde. Auch wenn ich kein großer Anhänger der Kirche bin, faszinieren mich die Gebäude sehr. Besonders die bunten Bleiglasfenster haben es mir angetan. Wenn sich das Licht darin bricht und im Inneren die bunten Formen und Farben schimmern, dann hat das schon etwas Magisches. Um das meinem Kleinkind zu zeigen, habe ich den Effekt versucht daheim mit Tape und Fenstermalstiften nachzuahmen. Ob und wie gut das klappt, sehe ich beim nächsten Sonnenschein. Ein Hingucker ist das Fenster allemal und der Nachwuchs ist begeistert. Unten zeige ich noch ein Bild der Vorbereitung.
