Yes! @jasperdick I remember this hotly debated topic. It is my opinion that it was totally a publicity stunt (albeit a very good one). They gave their audience exactly what they wanted! For a moment, they were able to step back into their roles and that is some phenomenal method acting. I don't doubt for a second though that their friendship or professional relationship could be the same after such a heartwrenching and emotionally demanding performance. It's that ability to step in and out of roles, to become completely immersed but yet at the end of the day, return to your true self that I admire of this caliber of artists.
