Hello Hivers! I am back once again to share with you another universal piano music video.
Hoy se trata del primer movimiento de ¨Petrushka¨ una de las geniales obras del compositor ruso Igor Stravinsky. Originalmente es un hermoso ballet con coreografía del reconocido Mihail Diaguilev en una dupla explosiva con Stravinsky. El estreno de este ballet fue un gran acontecimiento porque representó una revolución en cuanto a la música y la danza además de la escenografía.
La obra para piano es una versión que realizó el propio compositor dedicada al virtuoso pianista polaco Arthur Rubinstein y es considerada una de las obras más difíciles del repertorio universal para piano.
Es una pieza que disfruto muchísimo además de ser un gran reto el hecho de interpretarla.
Today is the first movement of ¨Petrushka¨ one of the great works of the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky. It is originally a beautiful ballet choreographed by the renowned Mihail Diaguilev in an explosive duo with Stravinsky. The premiere of this ballet was a great event because it represented a revolution in terms of music and dance as well as scenery.
The piano work is a version made by the composer himself dedicated to the virtuoso Polish pianist Arthur Rubinstein and is considered one of the most difficult works in the universal piano repertoire.
It is a piece that I enjoy very much as well as being a great challenge to interpret it.

Pertenece a mi graduación de la Universidad de las Artes en junio de 2018, un concierto en vivo que tuvo lugar en el Oratorio San Felipe Neri, en La Habana, Cuba.
