Hello Hivers! I hope you had a nice week. My name is Lisa Maria Blanco and I am a Cuban pianist. Today I would like to share another video with Cuban music.
As part of this cycle that I have been sharing here comes the ¨Toccata for piano¨ by the young Cuban composer Daniel Torres Corona. It is a very interesting work that gives us that lyricism and sensitivity that characterize the composer.
I have the satisfaction that we were study partners since we were little and we have shared many moments in our lives.
The video was recorded at a live concert that I performed last January in a concert hall that was recently opened in Havana with the name of the prominent and deceased Cuban composer Argeliers León.

Hola Hivers! Espero que hayan tenido una bonita semana. Mi nombre es Lisa Maria Blanco y soy pianista cubana. Hoy les comparto otro video con música cubana.
Como parte de este ciclo que he venido compartiendo por acá llega la ¨Toccata para piano¨ del joven compositor cubano Daniel Torres Corona. Es una obra muy interesante que nos regala ese lirismo y sensibilidad que caracterizan al compositor.
Tengo la satisfacción de que fuimos compañeros de estudio desde pequeños y hemos compartido muchos momentos en nuestras vidas.
El video fue grabado en un concierto en vivo que realicé el pasado mes de enero en una sala de conciertos que recientemente se inauguró en La Habana con el nombre del destacado musicólogo y compositor cubano ya desapareccido Argeliers León.
Muchísimas gracias por todo el apoyo que recibo de todos ustedes.
