Korn - Blind - Guitar Cover

in Music3 months ago

How goes it, you digital degens? It's me, the goblin creature that lives in the sewers, coming out once again to share another guitar cover. This one being a pretty old school track from one of the best nu-metal bands to ever exist, Korn. I'm also getting to test out my new 7 string guitar which so far has been fucking killer. I might have to order up some funeral plans for my other 7 string guitar, because I think that'll probably be rotting in a case from now on. Anywho, I have 0 energy because I'm sick and am amazed I even managed to get this all recorded and uploaded. Hopefully you enjoy the cover and if not then I guess you must just sit down when you pee, nerd.

I have always had a curiosity about this genry of music called metal. as a music lover, I have listened to some and intrestingly, I find the make up of this genre very creative. for me its like thinking outside the box.
as to your performance, You delivered professionally.
I look forward to more from you @deadspace

Am i just out of practice/have a shitty internet connection / losing my mind or is there a slight delay between the audio and video?

This was such a great album for me in college. I had one of those annoying super loud car stereos as a kid that I now hate when the see / hear them but instead of jamming out rap all the time I would blast stuff like this when I drive around.

That might just be your device or connection causing some sync issue? I just watched it again to double check and it looks pretty in sync for me. I also know at least a handful of people who've watched it never mentioned that, so I'm pretty sure I didn't done goof when editing it.

That sounds very much like one of my friends though he kept it up for a few years after his college time. Would run around blasting Opeth or The Human Abstract so obnoxiously loud that I'm shocked he didn't get thrown to the gators (He lived in Florida).

There's a very good chance it is my device. This is a relatively shite laptop that I picked up in a huff because I had to go on the road and my main laptop was one of those ones that the battery lasts about 9 seconds when it is unplugged.

I was really into car stereos when I was a kid. Was I annoying as hell? I am sure I was. But I did learn a lot about electrical engineering and actually got hired as an install tech at the age of 16 when I was in a shop just talking to the staff and they were seriously impressed with how much someone as young as me knew about this stuff. It was a bit of a healthy obsession and I had one of those setups in the hatchback that didn't just sound awesome, but looked really good too with see-thru subwoofer cabinets and a display case for the amplifiers and gold plated electrical connections. My electrical usage was so intense that the car battery was incapable of supplying enough power to it so I had to install capacitors hidden behind the panels. If I ever turned on the music for more than a few minutes without the car on, the car wouldn't turn on because there wasn't enough juice. Unfortunately the capacitors were greedy bitches and they only take, never give back even when they are full.

Now that I think back on it I kind of miss those days. If I were to repeat them though I would focus more on the sound being crisp rather than just mirror rattlingly loud.
