The Way You Look Tonight (Cover Violin) @denysmusic [ESP|ENG]

No podía parar.

Hello community, I hope you are well, today I bring you my version of a classic of the golden decade, the decade of the 30's.
This decade was undoubtedly the golden age of cinema, where everything was glamorous, the movies were more theatrical, had a lot of dancing and singing, the actors were really very chivalrous and actresses simply looked like queens who were courted by these gentlemen who sang throughout the film, it was a lot of drama, the movies were black and white, because color was not yet created in them, but recently I saw scenes from several movies in color remastered, it is spectacular to see how it really looked like all the color production as it really was, I know that the world has advanced and technology has made the life of man easier and we have advanced as a race but I think I would have liked to live in that era, because I think there was more respect for others, besides that manners were essential in society, much of that has been lost, and although many people I know are educated and of good manners, when I go out on the street I see much disrespect and lack of manners in general, I hope this is just one more time and humanity returns to be more respectful.
Following the theme of the video that I bring you today, the song is; " The Way You Look To-night ", this song was created by 'Jerome Kern' and 'Dorothy Fields', in 1936 and is a song from the movie 'Swing Time' and was interpreted by 'Fred Astaire'. Fields commented, "The first time Jerry played that tune for me, I came out and started crying. The pitch absolutely killed me. I couldn't stop. It was so beautiful.
I for my part the first time I heard it was by 'Sinatra', and if I tell you the truth, I did not really like that version, it was not until I heard it by 'Bublé' that I really fell in love with this work of art, from there I started to listen to numerous versions like the one by 'Bennett', which I really liked and the one by 'Astaire' in the movie that I loved and put me in context of how it was created and why the delicate melody and the linking of chords that were very common at that time.
This song for being so melodious is perfect to play it on the violin, I hope you like it, here I leave the lyrics and the link to the version of an Armenian singer that I love, 'Arpi Alto' and I also leave the link from where I took the night images in the video. See you soon, bye.

The Way You Look Tonight

Some day, when I'm awfully low
When the world is cold
I will feel a glow just thinking of you
And the way you look tonight
Yes, you're lovely, with your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft
There is nothing for me but to love you
And the way you look tonight
With each word your tenderness grows
Tearin' my fear apart
And that laugh, wrinkles your nose
Touches my foolish heart
Lovely, never, never change
Keep that breathless charm
Won't you please arrange it?
'Cause I love you
A-just the way you look tonight
And that laugh that wrinkles your nose
It touches my foolish heart
Lovely, don't you ever change
Keep that breathless charm
Won't you please arrange it?
'Cause I love you
A-just the way you look tonight
Mm, mm, mm, mm,
Just the way you look tonight.
