Welcome to Three Tune Tuesday!. A nice space in the Music community that was born from the idea of brother @ablaze, where all participants recommend music to each other. I almost never share this kind of music on Hive, but among so many Latin rhythms and sounds merengue has always been my favorite within that Caribbean world. I don't know if I dance to it well 😅 probably not, I just get carried away by the rhythm, but many of its songs I still listen to them today, although the ones I like the most are usually very old, but I still recommend them to you.

Casi nunca comparto este tipo de música en Hive, pero entre tantos ritmos y sonidos latinos el merengue siempre ha sido mi favorito dentro de ese mundo caribeño. No sé si lo bailo bien 😅 probablemente no, solo me dejo llevar por el ritmo, pero muchas de sus canciones las sigo escuchando hoy en día, aunque las que más me gustan suelen ser muy antiguas, pero igual se las recomiendo.

This is a Spanish version of the French song Le j'aime a mourir, which has been very successful in the Spanish language. One of the best covers that exists is its merengue version from the 90's, performed by DLG. A very important song for me since my childhood and that perfectly represents the power of this musical genre. I hope you like it too...

This song, this album and this artist represent the end of the century and the beginning of the new millennium, my arrival to adolescence and long car rides with my family listening to it and singing it. I became so obsessed with Elvis Crespo that I came to think that merengue would be more important in my life as an adult, but no, it was just a stage 😅 here in Venezuela even his promotional song “Píntame” was used for a soap opera. Everyone listened to this artist during that time, it's impossible not to be fond of him and it's one of the few albums of the genre that I still listen to.

Esta canción, este álbum y este artista representan el final de siglo e inicios del nuevo milenio, mi llegada a la adolescencia y largos viajes en coche junto a mi familia escuchándolo y cantándolo. Me obsesioné tanto con Elvis Crespo que llegué a pensar que el merengue sería más importante en mi vida como adulto, pero no, fue solo una etapa 😅 aquí en Venezuela incluso se usó su canción promocional "Píntame" para una telenovela. Todos escuchaban a este artista durante esa época, es imposible no tenerle cariño y ser de los pocos álbumes del género que aún escucho.

It is possible that this is the song that everyone reading my post knows right now, since it is the song of the summer and one of the most successful songs in the world right now. Honestly I don't really like Karol G doing this music, but I already understood that in the commercial music world everyone is doing their best to keep up with the trend and they're always going to be hyped up. It doesn't sound bad, in fact it sounds very good, but I do feel it a bit fake, although the queen Shakira also did merengue more than 10 years ago, although it wasn't just one and it wasn't a fashion either, the point is that it is impossible not to fall in love with this hit by the Colombian Karol G and I recommend it, especially for those going to the beach these days 😎

Es posible que esta sea la canción que conocen todos los que leen mi post en este momento, ya que es la canción del verano y de las más exitosas en el mundo justo ahora. Sinceramente no me gusta mucho Karol G haciendo esta música, pero ya entendí que en el mundo de la música comercial todos hacen lo posible por mantenerse a la moda y siempre lo van a enaltecer. No suena mal, de hecho suena muy bien, pero sí lo siento un poco falso, aunque la reina Shakira también hizo merengue hace más de 10 años, aunque no fue uno solo y tampoco era una moda, el punto es que es imposible no enamorarse de este éxito de la colombiana Karol G y la recomiendo, especialmente para quienes vayan a la playa estos días 😎

Loca fue un gran éxito mundial y Rabiosa sonó a mucho a nivel de Hispanoamérica, sin embrago hoy recodaré el sencillo Addicted To You, que en cierta forma pasó a ser más inmortal que las anteriores con el paso de los años. Con sonido rico en ritmos caribeños y la mejor letra de las tres.
