Linkin Park the alternative rock band from the United States, has evolved over the years and today I bring you a comparison between their first album and the last one that came out.

Year 2000 Hybrid Theory this is the debut album of the band, interesting feature of this album is that they mix rock and rap which intertwine perfectly, the magnificent percussion work, the effects, guitar, bass and the great and well-known voice of Chester, (Lead vocalist) do a great job creating songs like: **In the end, Crawling, or One Step Closer.

The songs are nu metal style, or alternative metal so they are heavy and loud, with a lot of guttural and rap use, so this is an album that attracts more rock lovers.

However the band has always experienced new things, and in 2017 they release their album One More light which if we compare it with hybrid theory gives a radical change and quite criticized by some of the older fans, but this album is very good the music production is great with deep lyrics, which then had more meaning, and something very important is the last album with Chester Bennintong as lead singer.

One More Light is defined in several genres Rock pop, Electro pop, Electronic rock, I think this album could attract a different audience because they went for something softer, more pop which was unconventional in them and here come songs like: Heavy, Nobody Can Save Me Now and Sorry For Now.

I can say that I like both of them very much but my favorite is definitely hybrid theory the lyrics, a more organic sound and above all the voice of Chester doing guttural makes it a winner for me.
