¡Queridos amigos y amigas de la música en Hive! con gran entusiasmo les presennto esta iniciativa "Hive Music Jam Sessions" basada en las improvisaciones ó "Jammings". La improvisación es uno de los aspectos de tocar música que más disfruto y es una parte fundamental en géneros como el jazz y el rock, la improvisación estimula la creatividad del músico y nos ayuda a desarrollar nuevas destrezas con nuestro instrumento, además de eso ¡es súper divertido y relajante! por todas estas razones la improvisación me parece una parte muy importante e interesante de la música así que me pareció buena idea dedicale un espacio semanal en esta comunidad ¡los invito a acompañarme!
Dear music friends at Hive! With great enthusiasm I present to you this initiative "Hive Music Jam Sessions" based on improvisations or "Jammings". Improvisation is one of the aspects of playing music that I enjoy the most and is a fundamental part of genres such as jazz and rock. Improvisation stimulates the musician's creativity and helps us develop new skills with our instrument. In addition to that, it is super fun and relaxing! For all these reasons, improvisation seems to me to be a very important and interesting part of music, so it seemed like a good idea to dedicate a weekly space to it in this community. La dinámica de esta iniciativa es muy sencilla, simplemente se trata de publicar semanalmente una improvisación de cualquier género musical, ya sea sólo o acompañado con otro instrumento, o con una pista ó "backing track" cómo he hecho yo en esta ocasión, y etiquetar algunos amigos para así ayudarnos a obtener algunas visualizaciones en nuestros videos y así tener una mayor probabilidad de un buen voto por parte de 3speak, la idea es fomentar la interacción y el apoyo entre los músicos de la comunidad, divertirnos y aprender apreciando las improvisaciones de cada quien, también es un reto a mantener la constancia y una invitación a despejar la mente, desestresarse y alimentar el alma una vez a la semana.
The dynamics of this initiative are very simple, it is simply about publishing an improvisation of any musical genre on a weekly basis, whether alone or accompanied by another instrument, or with a track or "backing track" as I have done on this occasion, and tagging some friends to help us get some views on our videos and thus have a greater probability of a good vote from 3speak, the idea is to encourage interaction and support between the musicians of the community, have fun and learn by appreciating the improvisations of everyone, it is also a challenge to maintain consistency and an invitation to clear your mind, de-stress and feed your soul once a week.
Para esta primera semana del Hive Music Jam sessions he usado una pista ó backing track en Re menor, del canal en Youtube "Tom Bailey backing tracks" es una pista de uso libre sin embargo me parece justo dar crédito a su autor ya que creo que hace un buen trabajo, al final del post les comparto un link a su canal de YT. La improvisación se trata básicamente de sentir la música y dejarse llevar, sin embargo implementamos obviamente los elementos musicales como escalas, acordes, melodías, armonías etc, en este caso combiné el sonido blues de la escala pentatónica menor con la escala melódica menor y algunos cromatismos para dar unos tintes de jazz ¡Espero que les guste! los invito a unirse ¡no olviden etiquetarme! me entusiasma mucho ver sus improvisaciones ¡nos vemos pronto con más música!
For this first week of the Hive Music Jam sessions I have used a track or backing track in D minor, from the channel on YouTube "Tom Bailey backing tracks" it is a free use track, however it seems fair to me to give credit to its author Since I think he does a good job, at the end of the post I share a link to his YT channel. Improvisation is basically about feeling the music and letting yourself go, however we obviously implement musical elements such as scales, chords, melodies, harmonies, etc., in this case I combined the blues sound of the minor pentatonic scale with the melodic minor scale and some chromaticisms to give some jazz overtones.
