There was a period when I just listened to The Doors. No song is bad. From today's perspective, they are also so strong lyrically and musically that you can't listen to them every day...
Yes, yes! One cant (shouldnt) enjoy the perfect beauty on a daily basis - then you became very accomodated, very used to it... which in my opinion is not a very good thing. Better to sandwich it with other stuff. Avantgarde... or simply live versions / gig bootlegs come very handy here.
I am listening to them 3 days in a row now - after a long pause. Sounds very fresh and enjoyable!
