"Celestial" when you listen to it has a youthful, laid back style with that touch with sentimentality that Ed has been heard in other songs but before I get into it fully regarding its message and my opinion regarding the song, I want you to watch the video and listen to the song, but I really would like you to watch it because I will talk about that later as well. I will also leave the lyrics to the song.

Let's start first with the lyrics before reviewing the video. At first glance the lyrics for some may be somewhat sentimental, something with an undertone of thanks to that special person your life is magnificent and "celestial", however, I consider the central theme to be "support". That which pushes you and holds you to keep going, which is a constant of unconditional love, and although that may seem sentimental it also encompasses much more elements. Beyond the main focus of the song, I don't see it as something extremely spectacular or a work of art but I don't perceive it as boring or bad either, it's quite enjoyable and does it best when it manages to bring out that message it has.

• The first verse I perceive it with some pessimism, it is a reflection of how we function as human beings in the face of the unpredictable, we cannot know what will happen and we are in life constantly between loving and breaking and as it says at the end, to turn everything upside down and repeat that cycle again. I think this first part represents that feeling of sitting in a monotony, feeling the need for change and knowing that there is something more but not quite understanding (yet) how to achieve that.

• The pre-chorus continues the perceived pessimism of the previous, adding the sense of failure. The biggest difference is that now he begins to recognize the support, to know that something or someone is there wanting to give him that push he needs. I liked the "I know your arms are outstretched somewhere beyond the clouds" part, it's acknowledgement but at the same time makes it clear that he's not feeling well enough to be able to take that help and pull himself up.

• Now, the chorus. This part is important, although I feel it skips a phase of the story, it goes straight into accepting and taking the help, it is a way of recognizing how valuable the presence of that person is in your life, of giving him or her value and respect. To express how your heart lightens and you feel that you are not alone, that helps you to get up and move forward again. That magical synchronicity between laughter. The second verse continues this same premise, where he continues to be admired and shown appreciation based on their qualities.

• The second pre-chorus begins differently from the previous one because it maintains a sequence of how the story of the song goes, now comes a concern, I think it's when everything is going well that you start to notice the fear of what could happen if suddenly that person leaves, if he or she is no longer there to continue holding your hand for some reason, you feel that you won't be able to go on without him or her.

• The bridge is beautiful, it is the expression of what they achieve by being together. The team they form, what they manage to see and what they can achieve. How they bond and how they have supported each other to go far and how they manage to create something that no one else can see but just the two of them because it is a unique "magic" of the two of them.

• Then comes the most important and complete chorus. It is pure love, I can't find a better way to describe it because it is that unconditional love where you feel that support for your dreams, where you can also support that person and as I said before, be a team. The previous pre-choruses and choruses come together to leave only the positive messages of this story, where by having the support of those you love and who love you, you can stand up and see things differently. Life is more beautiful that way.

Let's talk about the video, it seems to me that of all the music videos that have been made between artists and Pokémon, this is the one that I liked the most and the one that has the most beautiful message of all and in fact, you can feel even more what it's all about. Something to take into account is that unlike those other videos, the Pokémon here are not really there, I will explain it to my perspective in the following.

The video starts showing different parts of Ed's room, GameBoy Color, official Hasbro toys of Pokémon until the alarm is activated but Ed ignores it completely showing in part the discouragement that has the lyrics of the song at the beginning but in that the video changes to a drawing with Pikachu electrocuting Ed to lift him up. The animation ends and Ed gets up to make his breakfast all alone, the animation reappears showing Charmander heating his food until he accidentally burns some curtains and a stool, but Squirtle appears to extinguish the fire only on the curtains, the animation ends and Ed extinguishes the one on the stool.

At the table there is plenty of food, Ed begins to eat and the animation reappears showing different Pokémon eating along with him but this one ends abruptly showing Ed finishing the food from one of their plates. Ed comes out with a notebook in hand with several things crossed out, he has like a creative block and being distracted he almost gets hit by a car but again the animation kicks in and Snorlax helps him block the crash.

While in the park the animation changes to him riding on a Lapras to get to another end. Ed runs to a lonely field, with good atmosphere, beautiful weather. In this part we hear the lyrics of the recognition of the value that person has for him. The animation changes to many Bulbasaur around him, making flowers sprout everywhere until it relaxes him, cheers him up and with the movement of his shoes we can confirm that what he was doing was writing this song and he managed to complete it. He goes running to his house helped of course by Charizard, at home without him seeing them, Machamp and other Pokémon help to prepare everything so he can sing the chorus of the song together with everyone.

Now comes an important part. The animation changes radically to an alternate version of the events of the first Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back movie, where everyone is fighting him until the very last moment. Suddenly, Ed wakes up and when he picks up his Game Boy because he thought he saw Pikachu enter it, a Hypno comes out and puts him back to sleep (I loved that touch of humor to close the song).

For me it was very emotional this video and song because for no one who knows me is a secret that Pokémon is my favorite franchise, since I was a child I have loved that universe and I still love it. And when I saw the video I couldn't help but come to the conclusion that I definitely have is to thank it, Pokémon has been in many important moments of my life, in moments where I have laughed, where I have been happy, I have met wonderful friends precisely because that was the theme to 'break the ice', there are excellent people I met even through Twitter and Facebook because for the reason to talk about it came out. Many creative processes of my youth began with this both drawing and making designs in clay. Connecting with that vast and wide universe helped me to even understand parts of me that I didn't know, like that I enjoy those adventure games because I like the idea of being in other worlds and living new situations, the concept of growth and development, the evolution as an individual after many experiences.

And just as for me and many others we have Pokémon and other things that shape us and are present in our lives to give them more color and fill us with passion, others also have theirs, whether other video games, sports, etc., the important thing is to be grateful with it and notice that although it may not seem so, they make magic in us at levels that we do not notice and truly, make life more heavenly.
