Nice to say hello to this amazing community! First of all, I want to mention that this is my first post and I want to share with you my biggest passion in my life, Rap. I've done a lot of research on communities and it's a relief for me this one. Although rap is not a genre perhaps very nice, known or heard by many, it carries behind it a teaching, an outlet and a message when you know how to listen, like any rhythm that is shaped with a feeling. I want to share with you my experience since I started in this medium and how it has evolved.

How did I learn about Rap? How did I start?

With almost 13 years old I was listening to various things, and in my country (Venezuela), the genre became known thanks to many influential people who emancipated it. Acquaintances sent me songs by Canserbero, 4to Poder, Reke and movements that made Hip Hop culture in Maracay and Caracas something I didn't know. Briefly mentioning that Hip Hop culture is composed of 4 elements: The MC (Master of Ceremony or the one who executes the action of rapping), Breaking, Dj and Graffiti. In Venezuela there were many events that promoted this in a positive way and generated an impact on young people that influenced them to get involved in this This culture was already expanding in other Latin American countries and other continents by then.

When I heard them, I was interested in the message and how it affected me; they motivated me, made me think and made me feel that I was not the only one who had thoughts about something and that there was a way to transmit what I felt and reflected, to the extent that I entered fully.

Why did I start writing?

Mentioning how I started writing, I would like to point out that, it was something unknown and due to that fear that I could be judged for what I did, since I was not seen in that way, I was very self-conscious. Thanks to select people who had heard what I did or read some things Mostly close and acquaintances in that field, I was invited to a recording studio in which, well, I didn't stand out much because of my inexperience. However, from there my first demos were born, which at the beginning were for my personal enjoyment and I was polishing them later on.

Some Outstanding Recordings!

Honestly, I have many writings without a recording or demo. The impossibility of paying for recordings and my circumstances at the time made it difficult Year 2016 and 2017 approximately. The positive thing came when I managed to contact a colleague I met at an event in Bellas Artes An area of Caracas dedicated to Art, which had a studio and I decided to record, not only for myself this time, but to lose my fear and so be in networks, show what I was passionate about. From there was born my first song uploaded on Youtube: "Bucle".

Fun fact: Loop was born out of a very strong depression and it was my farewell to my writing. Because of my frustration I felt that I was not getting anywhere.

My idea of transmitting my writings is not for money or fame, although it may sound untrue. I firmly believe that a good message can change a person's world, and with it generate a change, even if it is minuscule. When the fire in the Amazon happened, I was as frustrated as I was about the Notre Dame, they were collecting money to rebuild it, but they were not stopping the fire of the biggest lung in the world... and I wrote about it.

Tour

Throughout the time I have been living in Caracas, I have had the joy of making myself known little by little in different sectors; in neighborhoods, bars, squares and theaters. Getting to know more people in the field, I have not only discovered my love for music without labels but also the true passion behind every lyric, melody and rhythm.

This photo is from one of my presentations. The place is called Rajatabla, located in Bellas Artes, in the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.

Unfortunately, I don't have that much footage of me in presentations as my means to record myself or take pictures back then were favors from my escorts. Nevertheless, it has been a very enjoyable journey from 2017 to now.

Currently

I am currently away from music and even from writing due to circumstances that have forced me to prioritize. Soon, I hope to give continuity to those ideas that I have been building with my resources or even professionally, I hope it will be to everyone's liking.

I don't want to say goodbye without thanking you for having come this far, for having read or listened to what I have left and that anyone who is in the musical field, is of my entire compatibility.

One more person you know to support us and share is always welcome.
