One of the best thing that could happen to a young man who is still trying to secure his future is being in a relationship with a Minimalist.
A minimalist woman would be understandable and easy to reason with unlike a maximalist who would always want the luxurious stuff and not ready to compromise on her needs.
To be honest, this is one of the things I look out for when I am going into a relationship with someone, I can tell if I can spend the rest of my life time with a person within some few months we spend together because their behavior and lifestyle would tell if they are worthy of being taken to the alter.
As a man, we are loved based on the level of care and things we can provide, we are not being loved for who we are but for what we can offer, this is why most ladies would leave someone they love to marry an old man who is rich or just someone else who is rich and can take good care of them.
Only men truly love, a rich man can get married to a lady who come from a poor background and has nothing, but you will hardly see a rich lady getting married to a poor man.
This point is enough to make us realize, we are on our own and we are only relevant as long as we can provide so the last thing I would want to involve myself into is being in a relationship with a Maximalist
A sad story I heard further hardened my mind never to have anything to do with a maximalist.
So there was this man who was into forex and earning lot of money from forex and crypto, he made one mistake in his life which was falling in love with a lady who happened to be a maximalist and what made it worst was that she does not love the guy, she was only with him for the money.
The guy saw the signs but he ignored them all, even his friends warn him but he did not listen, it is true that the people that is the hardest to advice are those in love, his mind was probably telling him the lady would change when they get married.
They got married and the needs and wants of the lady only increased not long the guy ran into some problem with his work and his income was affected but the wife does not care and still want to live the lavish lifestyle which was at the expense of the man's unstable income.
Few months later, when the man could not cope anymore and it was obvious he is not earning well again, the woman started misbehaving and it did not take long before they divorced and the man was reduced to nothing!
There are other many sad stories like this out there, more reason why it is good to be patient when going for a long term partner.
I would go for a minimalist always! Someone who can help me manage my assets and not lavish it as she sees it.
Someone who would understand when am trying to achieve a goal and not burden me with her wants.
If you have someone like this in your life, hold onto them because they are rare, Am glad I am with such a person.

Having a partner who prefers a lavish lifestyle is a surefire way to become broke and never get wealthy. I think when we see the signs, we shouldn't ignore them because the future repercussions will be immense. They say love with your heart but always take your mind with you!

It's unfortunate that everyone judge male based on their earning. The greediness for money is so extreme that people proitize money money than the relationship and it's not good. So finding a life partner without greediness of money is important.

Maximalists are parasite. They help you spend your money and reduce you to nothing if you aren't wise enough to leave such a relationship. Even as a woman, you have to look out for a guy who is a minimalist so both of you can manage and grow your money well.
what if the lady read your post and act accordingly until you get married to her and later she shows you her real face hehehe because we all know about your bank balance which is getting bigger and bigger because there is no one to spend on shopping and beauty saloons and for that you have to get a Maximalist hehehe

I think you see my mind on this. Most relationships today are based on money and they always believe it the guy that is to provide all the things in a relationship. The excessive love of money makes one partner go astray and it might be hard to cope with.
Guys this, guys that, men also deserved to be taken care of but then it is what it is and nothing is going to change .. but as a man we must be wise too because one we have nothing to offer, those people who claim to love us will vanish into thin air
You are spot on brother. That's why we have to be wise as a guy. I once had this experience with a lady and now it feels like I never did anything at all but I am never bothered because I know it's life.. They do forget that man goes through stress also and needs pampering sometimes. I just pray we meet our own right choice some day.
Let me just say here that I am very lucky to have my one in a million as wife ,she can minimize thing for Africa.
