For my family, the best. But self-made (KISS 120)

It's been a long time since I've participated in the #kiss organized by @minimalistliving, I suspect as it happens to many hivers you post one season on one topic and other seasons on other topics.

For my people the best.

This phrase that I always try to carry to the letter of trying to provide the best for my loved ones is something that I always tried to carry out and on many occasions I mistakenly took the path of providing them with more and more things that give the occasional pleasure of receiving a gift.

For example, on many occasions, in order to please my relatives, I invited them to restaurants to taste exquisite but also expensive seafood dishes and other delicacies.

For my people the best but in a more special way.

For some time now, however, the family economy has been a little worse. But the turning point in changing my approach has been to implement a more minimalist sense of living in my life.

When it comes to inviting my relatives to expensive restaurants, I have radically abandoned this and opted instead to cook for them.

Especially in summer when the weather is better, I spend much less money cooking several barbecues.

Initially, it might seem that I was no longer giving my best to my people. But in reality what we need within the family to consider that we are giving our best is to give each other time to be together and to share moments, laughter and joy together.

So my best advice for times of limited budget is to take the minimalist concept to the extreme of less is more.

One can spend less money and offer much more with one's work and involvement. And looking at the faces of my relatives they like it better, even this more personal version, than the old version spending money in expensive restaurants.
