Keep working, you can control only that and that will also take care of you.
We have had severe financial problems during my twenties (more than three decades back), but we never got stressed like today when we have everything that is needed to lead a descent life. Back then, people including me were not overthinking - we just kept working and enjoyed that time. Back then I loved to sleep for more than eight hours (or even nine or ten hours sometimes) without any medicine or addictions - the day was full of physical work, and we were happy with small little things. Now also I don't take any medicine or have any addiction, but I am not able sleep like that. I don't have the same cravings for food and finally I have found out overthinking is the root cause of all the problems. So from last few months, I have been working to fix it and the only way to fix it is to keep ourselves busy with some work and get inspired by looking at such people who are not rich by wealth, but richer in health and inner peace. Most of us do white collared job that takes majority of our daily schedule and fixing a dedicated schedule for that is the first step. The rest of the time, we need to shift our focus to as much physical work we can do so that we don't get time to overthink and in the process get exhausted to have a nice sleep.
If you go to rural areas, you will find plenty of such people. Contrast to that, I don't see barely few guys in our apartment who even step out to walk - most are happy to swallow a tablet, to keep going.
I have a strong cravings for sweets and there I saw this man in his sixties carrying sugar bags and delivering to the shop.
I closely watched him and he has found out a niche way to lift those fifty kg bags and happily walk to deliver them. We will even get pinched by the idea of lifting such a heavy load - forget about doing that. The reason is our body has slowed down because of not doing physical work consistently and that creates a fear.
Some people (even my own kids) are even scared to step out of AC to avoid the scorching heat, but from my personal experience I feel it's more of a mindset - how do these people work hard then in the same conditions !!
So it's our mind that limits our capability and to win over the mind, we will have to keep working, pushing ourselves initially. Once you pass a certain level, then the mind will cooperate and agree to do more.
So Keep working, and don't overthink or listen to your mind. The mind can reach any place in this universe in one second - don't give it chance by engaging yourself in physical work as much as possible - that will take care of your wellness.

In fact, as you mentioned, the root of the problems faced by many people today is overthinking everything. They are wasting their valuable time by thinking about things they do not have and being jealous of others. When I was young, 2 decades ago, people were not as passionate as they are now, and simplicity was given priority and they cooperated with everything. Today, because of the basic need that people seek, money, many lives have fallen into the abyss of destruction and have gone to an abyss that cannot be recovered. At a time when the drug monster has engulfed the entire society, the nervous system of people has been destroyed to the point of committing any crime for money. In fact, although such dangerous activities are taking place in the city, people can be seen living with inner peace and happiness under minimal facilities based on simplicity and minimalism at the rural level.
Therefore, it is important to avoid overthinking and dedicate time to your own enjoyment, physical fitness, and the well-being of family members and neighbors. We can find good examples of minimalism all around us. This can be overcome by engaging in regular work. It is important to remember that although it is not as easy as it sounds, it is not impossible.
That's too bad...We should not be jealous of anyone or anything, that's an extra burden we carry on ourselves, unknowingly.
That's part of the reason I still push mow my lawn. It's not my favorite thing to do, but I know it keeps me active and movement is medicine.
And you know, we have to put that into a habit or discipline to force ourselves - for few days it will feel like a burden but once the body is set, we will enjoy that.
Yeah, I am not sure about that. I have been working out about four or five days a week for the past decade or so and I thought it would get easier over time, but it really hasn't.
Three,as far as I can count: 1. Be ok with my character/personality 2. Not trying to overcomplicate things. 3. Accepting meanings as it comes.
This is one of the reasons my mom has refused to stay at home, even when we promised to take care of her. She still finds things to do to keep her mind and body busy

That's exactly overthinking has really killed a lot of people today even when they had a enough that enough was still not enough because so much things on their head like driving the lastest car, building the lastest house, training children in the highest school, unhealthy competition unlike the those people still struggling for their stomach, they are more relaxed and most times more healthy
Sometimes the best cure for overthinking is simply to stay active and keep moving forward.

The truth is, I believe that we should work until our body can do it, trying to do it according to our age with the least physical effort possible and being able to have the possibility of obtaining the best possible benefits so that old age is without surprises.

I really agree with this. Life used to feel more peaceful when things were simple and we stayed active. Nowadays with so much stress and overthinking, it’s easy to forget how much better we feel when we move around and keep life minimal. Sometimes less really is more for a healthy mind and body.

Just as you mentioned “overthinking”, this makes me remember how much my mum overthinks about her health and thinking that she will have a hyperthyroidism surgery but after she saw the doctor, she was given some drugs and was fine later on
