Healthy, Happy, and Empathetic are mine.
Why do you do what you do ? I have often asked this question to myself, when I loose track of my life, making me more anxious or impatient and it really helps to align back to what we all need - leading a happy life. At times life become chaotic because of demanding more than what we can actually deliver, be it in personal front or professional career. We even try our best by giving extra effort, going beyond the boundaries, but of late one thing I have learnt is that, if it's creating more anxiety and affecting our health, then it's better to stop there and take a pause. The boy was going through this during his exams, affecting his sleep quality terribly and I advised him to stop doing that, and instead set a limit, without taking the toll on his health. Health is the most precious possession we all have and we realize only after it goes wrong. So don't force yourself to keep pushing, once you see a red flag, instead, pause, rest and reset yourself to rise again.
To relax him from his regular schedule, I took him to Decathlon after his exam, and we picked some regular stuffs for exercise - fitness is going to be his priority now and I am his competitor.
He was amazed with their billing process renovated - you throw your stuff on that box and it recognizes the product, adding to the bill - technology improving our lifestyle.
We picked couple of these for the lady, but then all did not go well, more to come on that later.
Who does not want to be Happy ? Everyone wants to be happy, but unfortunately happiness cannot be frozen and kept forever, because aspirations keep rising and we forget small little things in that process. Do you enjoy every food or meal and feel the satisfaction while eating ? Thinking and choosing about your favorite food and then enjoying it everyday is one other small but powerful way to be happy - if you have the food that you want to eat, clothes for your body and a place of your choice to sleep, then you are better than seventy five percent people of the world - be grateful and have a nice sleep to heal yourself. Finding happiness in these small little things makes our living more fulfilling and now they have become my top priorities of every day happiness. Earlier I used to worry about big things, and not giving attention to these small things, but upon introspection I discovered that its creating more anxieties and not doing any good.
On our way back, we have this nice place famous for sweets and we made sure to pick up some - as long as you are fit and doing exercise, eating them in limited quantity to fulfill our desire is not going to be a problem - don't listen to doctor's advice who says eating sweet can make you diabetic - rather be fit and fearless to allow your body to produce enough insulin and eat happily.
And finally be Empathetic to others, acting with kindness. Self-compassion is the starting point of that, be a good listener without interrupting, even though your point of view may be different. Majority of our dissatisfaction will go away by being empathetic, when we practice to control our emotional intelligence. Remember one thing - neither you have brought anything to this world nor you are going to take anything while leaving.

We all need a PURPOSE, and orient our life around that purpose. It's the purpose that serves as a beacon of light at times of dilemma. Be it personal or professional goal, at times it slows down, boredom triggers, and we may not find it worthwhile to do the same repetitive thing.
Purpose not just reminds us where we should be heading but also why should we heading to.
There are two straightforward yet not-so-easy riddles we encounter in our everyday life-- "Know-how" and "know-why". If we could fix these two for both long-term and short-term objective we are always home, or at the least we have much better clarity in our lives.
Knowing our strengths and elastic limits (up to which we can stretch ourselves and internalize easily) is key to posit ourselves in the best-fit role.

Yes, you are right we have to pay attention to little things of joy and happiness.. I have applied this practice and saw some great results....
I am fond of taking tea (doodh patti) and first when I used to take tea, I was lost in different kinds of thoughts, that's why I couldn't enjoy tea but now I pay full attention on every sip of tea while taking it...
So I think when have to set priorities in life..our first priority should be our health...For healthy life we should lead a disciplined life...
I think thankness creates happiness..We should be thankful for what we have..
We should look down to those people who are living a life below the poverty line and this will create happiness...

My wife's three words would be simplify, simplify, simplify. There has been a huge movement in that direction and in this crazy world I can totally understand and appreciate it. Decathlon looks like a really cool store.

That's great, living a minimalist life seems to be very peaceful and simple. Adopting such strategies are great but one thing which we should focus on that's being happy and healthy that makes every way of living better and best.!

These three; healthy, happy and empathy are the most important and should be greatly prioritized . Any other is secondary. My health comes first in anything knowing fully well that if you lose your health you've lost everything.

Sadly often at work you are not allowed to stop, that's why burnout cases are rising in our society... Decathlon is a great place to buy stuff, I often go there, it's cheap and the quality is not bad

Been burning myself out at work lately and my sleep is trash. Thanks for the reminder that health is greater than everything else. Sometimes we need to hear it from someone else to actually listen 🙏
Especially during exams, most children get very stressed about studying and we should do other specific activities along with the exams so that our minds stay refreshed and we don't put too much stress on our brains.
I actually used to stress about career goals and forgot to appreciate my morning coffee. Now I actually taste my food instead of scrolling my phone while eating. It was an absolute game changer honestly. I feel better on the inside than those days
I think most of the time, one of the things I really love most is spending less on what id not really that necessarily

To describe our lifestyle we must know ourselves well and from there surely everything good for us will be born so the key word for me is self-knowledge
It is absolutely true that when there are no children after marriage, life becomes much more troubled and sad. And after the birth of children, a special purpose in life becomes that parents will have to work hard day and night to improve their lives.
Happiness is a beautiful word, but very few are able to detect what makes us happy, even if it is the most insignificant thing for other people. If it fulfills and satisfies us on a personal level, I believe we will be making the right choice.
That is lacking a lot in this world, my friend, the lack of empathy because there are certain people who, because they have a little more than others, try to humiliate them when, on the contrary, the ideal is to help them find their way and be able to evolve to also achieve success.
