Portraits of Joy

I had an unexpected visit today. A couple of friends, with whom I spent almost my entire childhood, came to town to pick up their son. He had been staying with his grandma for about a month or so, and now it was time to bring him back home.

I didn't have the chance to meet them when they "airdropped the child," but since we haven't met for a while, we got to spend a whole afternoon together.

They wanted to eat, and "unfortunately," the best food in town is actually out of town at a Serbian place called Kladove. We got there relatively fast and enjoyed some delicious traditional food. Afterwards, the child needed to play for a bit and burn off some of the energy he still had.

So, we headed to the playground, then to the lake, where the swans welcomed us. After bidding farewell to the swans, we took a walk until we found another playground where the kid got to spend some more time.

We've had a few rainy days here for a while, but good weather is back in town. Aside from eating breakfast and writing my morning Leofinance post, I have not spent much time indoors.

I love springs, especially sunny and warm ones, and I have to say that I am eager for tomorrow, knowing that we will have around 23 degrees Celsius.

The tasty and calorie-filled food I had in Serbia is taking its toll, and I am starting to feel quite sleepy, to be frank. It's close to 10 PM here, and that's definitely not my bedtime, but my eyes are closing involuntarily.
