Today i present a sample of minimal things.
Scales are relative as in everything in life, sizes will always depend on the terms of comparison, and this example is minimal, compared to the other examples in this "Rocks à la Carte" collection.
From the photos it is not possible to have a real perception of the size, especially because i did not include any known object that would allow us to establish a term of comparison in the style of forensic evidence :P
But i can tell you that this small stone is no more than a centimeter wide or tall.
Its shape resembles a junction between a sphere and a cube, which makes it particularly interesting, also because at first glance no type of intrinsic details stand out other than a very small depression and the line that clearly distinguishes a difference in color and tones that reveal the presence of different geological particles.
Stones are made up of a very wide variety of different materials and i have already had the opportunity to demonstrate this through these macro recordings.
This has a sandy and rough body, resembling a small handful of sand that has solidified after several years of intense compression.
After pointing the lens and after some recordings from different perspectives, it was possible to obtain a set of very interesting scenarios :)
The rocks included in this catalog were meticulously chosen from a diverse array of stones gathered on the mountain. Through their diversity, they collectively offer a visual depiction of the geological features inherent to this region.

- My introductory thoughts about macro photography:
The world of macro photography, is a realm filled with endless possibilities and boundless creativity. It is truly remarkable how the use of macros, with their ability to create a beautifully blurred background, can produce such diverse images full of contrast and texture.
Macro photography reveals a world of details that often goes unnoticed by the naked eye. It's as if a whole new universe unfolds before the lens, inviting us to explore and appreciate the beauty in the minutiae of everyday life.
What makes macro photography so captivating is its ability to offer a new perspective on the world around us. With the right technique and vision, even the most mundane subjects can be transformed into works of art, each image telling its own unique story.
There are no limits to what can be captured. Each object becomes a potential subject, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, where even the smallest details can evoke a feeling of surprise.
Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.

Examining miniature subjects using macro photography unveils a compelling domain where minute details acquire significant importance. Earlier I didn't know much about stones and I didn't know about their types, after reading your posts, my knowledge is increasing and I am happy to see such beautiful things.
