Cooking content without shooting fine foods such as dishes with less flavor. That's why since I focused on food content and especially cooking, I learned as much as I could for food photoshoots.

I only use my phone camera. Last year before I changed my old phone, I used an Oppo F1s, then my newest phone for the shooting is the iPhone 11 which I bought from money by creating content on the blockchain.

Photography props are the best thing that can improve my food photography results. But I can also use it for shooting other products.

However this time I have bought only food-related photography props.

I use my favorite online shopping application which is popular in Indonesia "TOKOPEDIA". This application has a free shipping feature if the item purchased is not excessive in weight as specified in the requirements.

I will share the unboxing of the photography props products that I bought.

Shopping for photography props online is tricky. We have to really study how a store delivers its products to buyers.

We can see the reviews in the product column for sale. I usually won't buy products that other users have never bought and I am taking into account the reviews and star ratings given by buyers.

So far, I have never been disappointed to buy things online. At least, the quality of application services related to online shopping in Indonesia is of no doubt. PHOTOGRAPHY BACKGROUND_{Background with Cement Texture}

For me, the background is the soul of food or product photo-shoot. The background brings a lot of tone and mood to the shoot.

Previously I bought a photography background with solid textures. It brings more of a bright and cheerful tone and mood.

This time I decided to add to my photography background collection. Several times I have seen dark mood food photography while searching the internet. So I was inspired to try something new at my food shoot.

Cement Background Color

You can see here my Cement Background is colored like cigarette ash. This color is neither too dark nor too bright.

This color provides its own benefits in shooting food, namely water or oil stains in small amounts will not appear to pollute this background so that it will last longer.

In addition, it will be easier for us to add certain effects, and with this cement background color, the results of the photo can be brighter or made darker to produce a dark mood mode.

Cement Background Size

Unfortunately, the size of the photography background that I bought this time is not as wide as the size of the photography background that I bought in the past.

The best position to use this cement background is flat-lay, while for portraits it will not be optimal, you have to use an additional background again.

But for the size, it doesn't matter to me because I mostly shoot food and products with the flat lay concept.

SMALL PHOTOGRAPHY PROPS_{Coffee Beans, Wooden Spoons, Burlap Napkin and Burlap Rope}

Actually, my consideration for buying these props is because I will be making stock photos with spices, as well as coffee beans and coffee grounds.

Someone asked me to take a photo of his coffee product. So I decided to buy this type of props.

There are small wooden spoons that are used in real life to scoop out grain-textured ingredients such as rice, sugar, coffee, and also spices.

I bought 4 wooden spoons, they are small so they don't interfere with the main object on the frame.

For coffee beans, I thought at first they were just fake props. It turns out that they smell quite like real coffee beans.

These coffee beans are also useful for making our moods better when shooting. Quite fragrant especially if in large quantities.

GLASS BOTTLES_{A Flower Vase and Containers of Spices}

Photography props that are interesting enough to add to my list, namely small glass bottles.

There are 4 glass bottles for the powder spice container and a glass bottle for a flower vase.

These spice containers are not only useful for photography props. We can use the real function in the kitchen.

These powdered spice containers are also very useful when I do plating. A sprinkling of spices for adding detail to the plating will be spread evenly on the surface of the food.

We can use these containers for chili powder, coriander powder, ground cinnamon, turmeric powder, cocoa powder, sugar powder, and many others.

For this useful glass bottle for a vase, it doesn't really matter to me because I rarely use portrait mode.

But I also bought a glass bottle for optional props. I know it will be useful, though not now.
