Traditional Culinary in Aceh Besar District; Rujak U Groh

I actually took the photos in this post a long time ago. However, today the atmosphere of the place where I took the photo is still the same. Visitors who come are also always crowded in this place.

This is one of the places to enjoy typical culinary delights in Aceh Besar. Named, Rujak U Groh. The location is quite strategic too, because it is on a provincial road and the place has a background of rice fields and mountains.

Rujak U Groh uses the basic ingredients of coconut shells from very young coconuts and umbut (the inner part of the coconut tree shoots) which are white in color, the taste is very tasty.

In addition to coconut, this Rujak U Groh culinary specialty also uses spices that are quite simple, but are able to provide an extraordinary taste, namely only using cayenne pepper and brown sugar, salt and adding a little lime juice and shell fruit.

For connoisseurs who don't like spicy, it can be according to the desired taste. With a mixture of ingredients like that, there is a collaboration of sweet, spicy, sour and savory flavors.

Besides enjoying the delicious Rujak U Groh, at this location we can also enjoy the surrounding scenery. In the form of a green expanse of rice fields. So that visitors add to the sensation when tasting it.
