Shale Quarry

IMG_3165.jpg

Samara region, district of the village of Yablonevy ravine. A local attraction is the oil shale quarry. It is notable for the fact that the fossils in this quarry are multi-colored. Red, yellow, brown and a few other colors. Last year, crowds of people went here for original photographs. Tour groups were brought in - the quarry is not very far from the city, only 50 kilometers. History has not preserved when the quarry appeared here, who led the development, or it all formed by itself. But this is not so important, because you can just admire the beauty :)

Certainly, they are places of a very rustic beauty, as your magnificent photos allow us to appreciate. Curious colors that occur in the rocks of the mountains. Greetings, @chanych85.

Thank you for your feedback :) All the most interesting things are always at hand, there is no need to go somewhere thousands of kilometers away :) The main thing is to find :))

The walls of layered colors do make beautiful photographs.

It looks like a layered and colorful cake, perfect for a photographer :)
