Sweaty Sock Puppet

in Photography Lovers10 months ago

I met a bird the other day.
Frazzled parent. Bad hair don't care pine needle stuck to her face.

What.

I fed her. Helped her out with a little extra food that she didn't have to work for. In exchange she let me take her picture.

She didn't pose.

Why bother posing when you're bushed and beat and look more like a half-drowned weasel than a beautiful Grey Jay?

I didn't mind. I told her she was the most beautiful sweaty sock puppet I'd ever seen.

She appreciated that.

Rose is my favorite Golden Girl!!!!

what beautiful photos, definitely the last ones are my favorites, what peace and what a beautiful harmony between the animal and the human being❤

Thank you! It really is a peaceful feeling making a little friend like that.

Oh what a cute little jay! I have already somewhere repeatedly seen that they are not afraid of people and take treats from their hands. Cute.

Yes, the grey jays are very bold. I think they also call them camp-robbers!
