The best part of this hike was the incredible reflections bouncing off the lake. The conditions were nearly perfect for this. Zero wind, and mostly sunny skies, although a bit of smoke in the air from distant forest fires. This here lake is called Yankee lake, and it is one of three lakes we hit during this loop hike. Wonderful it was. I’d rate this hike as an 8/10, relatively easy and lots of photo ops, which I especially like as you know. Have you had a chance to do some any great hikes this summer yet? The clouds came out perfectly on the water! It's as if they were in the water and not in the sky!

Not always easy to take smaller kids with on the trails -- wait a couple of years!
No good hikes yet! - but they are coming, honestly everytime i see flat water, l instantly get my drone out because capturing the reflections is just phenomenal as you know.

This reflections are awesome indeed! I haven't been able to go on good hikes this year yet. Only a couple of visits to some beaches, but no forest yet. And your photos have me itching to get out for some proper hiking now...lol.
