Rundle

What is the next best thing to hiking in the Canadian Rockies? Walking around the town of Banff, and looking at the Canadian Rockies! In the spotlight today is the one and only Rundle Mountain. Banff would not be the same without this iconic mountain. The mountain itself is actually quite long and large or about 12 kilometres in length to be exact. This portion of the mountain is the west end, and the east end is smack dab in the middle of Canmore. Fun fact: the mountain was named after Reverend Robert Rundle, a missionary sent over from Europe in the 1800’s.

I like any photo of Rundle! Yours are captured so strikingly and professionally! Very nice.

I recently learned that the natives in the area used a word than means 'house' in reference to this mountain! And, pretty sure Rundle is 22kms long! It goes all the way from Banff to Canmore! So long.

It's a pretty awesome mountain for sure. Someday I'll have to give it a climb, but it may be a bit too tough for me.

Those black and whites come out awesome! Those last three are money shots, very well done, they blend so well with that that monolith and the sky above. Cool!

Thanks, mountains go so well with black and white photography.

Oh definitely this is an iconic mountain. It seems to give the full view of the place. In the first photo, the peoples should have had a wonderful time walking around. So beautifullycaptured,

Fantastic little town to walk around in and enjoy the surroundings. Thanks.

I wonder what I would be feeling while climbing the mountain. I think it would be great since the temperature was low compared to here in the Philippines. No sweats. @daveks

It may be too hot to be climbing in the Philippines, at least for me!

Ahaha, you're right. One of the reasons, I'm not interested in climbing mountains is the temperature here.

I love mountains ,friend
I think the mountain view is very beautiful

Mountains are the best.

I recently know about this 😊

Very interesting mountain.

Amazing range on that camera lens. It's actually a beautiful and peaceful place to hike.

I really love this camera lens. A great place to enjoy nature.

Perfect my friend, amazing shots but tell them people to get out of the frame, Haha. Seriously though, this place is special for sure.

I know, them pesky tourists lol..
