I'm sorry to hear that they died. I guess it's simply too hot for them. Maybe you can try planting them inside, like that they would not get those swings in temperature and sunshine so much. I have mine on the windowsill and they seem to grow happy. Also, is this the right time to plant them where you are? You might have planted them in the wrong season?
