Fingers Crossed

break.png

This will be my third time growing mushrooms. The first time, I grew Golden Teachers using the monotub method and that grow went perfect. I got so many mushrooms from it. My second attempt didn't go as well. The grain bag got contaminated and I had to throw it out. That experience pushed me away from growing mushrooms for a long time, but I am ready to give it another shot.

I purchased a few different strains to grow and I am trying out some new all in one grain bags where the entire growing process takes place in an enclosed bag, making it virtually dummy proof. There is still a chance of contamination, but it is a lot lower.

Out of all the different strains, I am most excited for the "Dream Portal" strain. It is a cross of B+ and Hawaiian strains. Here is a description of the strain:

"Users reported a much higher visual state and out of body experience or virtual world combined with a rebirthing and trauma release." source

Before you inject the spores into the grain bags, you want to make sure to shake the syringes to mix up the spores.

Make sure to wear gloves and wipe EVERYTHING down with alcohol. I wiped down the entire bag and then set them on a sanitized surface. You also want to wipe down the gloves and the syringes as well. It is extremely easy to contaminate your grain bags, so don't skimp out on disinfecting and use plenty of alcohol.

Then you inject your spore solution into the grain bags. I didn't have an injection port on my bags, so I used some packing tape to cover the hole and prevent contamination.

Now it is time to sit back and wait. I should start to see some mycelium forming in about a week or two. The mycelium looks like a white fur that grows inside the bag. Once you see it, it shouldn't take too long for it to spread inside the entire bag and turn all of the grain white. It looks a lot like spider webs.

I am really looking forward to growing these different strains. I am going to be getting the materials needed to make pills for microdosing. Psilocyben mushrooms have some truly amazing health benefits and have the power to heal people's minds. These sacred plants have so much potential for humanity.

Cool man! Can't wait to watch your updates

I hope they all work out and don't get contaminated.

That's an awesome setup for mushroom growing, especially with the starter spore syringes. Way back in the day I was starting on petri dishes, had to be super sterile or a lot of weird things would grow. I'm looking forward to seeing this grow progress :)

Home grown mushroom. Interesting to learn about it. Can it actually be edible

se ve interesante esto del cultivo de setas 🍄 y disculpa se puede comer me gustaría saber un poco más acercarme a ese cultivo.

Here is so good info that can teach you a bit about them.

I didn't know that micelium could be found in liquid form. But when I happened to buy some button mushroom micelium which was already in potting soil, I really enjoyed it but the second time I wanted to do it again it didn't work because of the heat. Your post makes me want to start again

I hope you have better success with this next try to grow your button mushrooms. Growing mushrooms of any kind can be a very fun and rewarding experience.

Thank you yes you are right

This is interesting
I cannnot count how many times mushrooms have grown in my compound but I always cut them away, lol
I just realized that they are good for our health

Not all mushrooms are good for humans to eat. You have to be careful with them

My daughter recently bought a couple of grow bags of mushrooms, so when I saw your thumbnail I recognised them straight away. I might have guessed yours would be the magic kind, though. 😆 Ours are enoki and oyster. Fingers crossed we don't get contamination. My daughter asked me to join her in preparing them and clumsy me stabbed myself with the needle. Luckily I didn't have my hand on the plunger...

I would never have guessed growing mushrooms would be so intricate. So much sterilising needed for a fungus!

I grew some oyster mushrooms in an all in one bag a few years ago and it worked perfectly. That sucks you poked yourself with the needle. I was so scared I was gonna do that. lol

That's good news. The mycelium in ours has started growing already. It's exciting to see.
How do you know if it's gotten contaminated? Is it when it's green or red, rather than white?

Pretty much any growth in there that isnt white during the first few weeks is contamination. After about 2 weeks, if you have a lot of white mycelium and you see some other color forming, there is a chance that the mycelium will actually kill the contaminated stuff.

I didn't know before that they are made in this way and their group is good in this way. Now I know a lot of things.

I've never grown mushrooms at home, man. What are you gonna use these mushrooms for? Natural medicine? For food? Or is there another reason? I'm very curious about the results.

I remember Solominer grew mushrooms at one point.

They are basically a medicine that has huge potential to heal your brain. If everyone on earth used these mushrooms, the world would be a much better place.

Yes, especially politicians

Yup. The governments of the world are why we are in this mess. All the people just want to live in peace but the government wants to divide us all.

This is great! I have been wanting to try these aio bags myself. So I'm gonna pull up a chair and follow along. Then I'll try my hand at it.
great post brother.
Peace

I hope that these bags are as good as what I am thinking. They won't produce as much as growing in the mono tub but it should be all that I need. Hopefully you get to grow again soon.
