Using my mobile for indoor photos in the casinos worked a lot better than using my DSLR. Mobile cameras have come such a long way in the past few years.
This was in the Venetian heading inside. It is one of my favorite places to hang out and watch the sun go down.

No matter where we stay in Vegas, we always make it a point to walk to the Venetian and get some gelato from this stand.
Walking around in Vegas with a huge DLSR can be a hassle. My camera with any of my lenses attached can weigh up to 10 pounds or so. It gets pretty cumbersome to carry around and I am always worried that someone will bump into my lens or something and break it. I am not too worried about someone trying to steal it or anything cause I have it strapped to my body. It can just be a huge hassle to deal with.
So it is a good thing that mobile phones have been seeing some pretty huge advances in technology for their cameras. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the camera on it is one of the best I have seen for mobile. There are so many times that I have taken side by side photos of something with my phone and my DSLR and I prefer how the phone looks.
Walking around in Vegas is one of the funnest things you can do there. My wife and I aren't into any of the gambling that goes on there. We prefer to just walk around, see the sites and people watch. The people watching in Vegas is one of the greatest things to do there. We usually see at least a few crazy things while we are there.
I am just glad that the weather was really good while we were there. We were dreading the Vegas heat, but luckily we had cloud coverage the whole time. We also spent a lot of time cooling off in the pools. We can't wait to go back. Vegas is always such a fun time.

This was in Las Vegas outside of one of the casinos. It would be good to go to Paris one day and see the real Eiffel Tower.
The possibilities of what to see and do in Vegas seem endless for me. Why to go to Paris when you have your own tower? Why to check pyramids and Disneyland when they are not missing either? That's crazy and I love it!
Vegas is such a cool place. So much to see and tons of good food.

We have to admit that Iphone cameras are always better than android. I also heard that you can put a lens on the phone. I don't know if it's true. I'm sure you are more wise about this than me.
They have different lens attachments that you can buy for iPhone. I don't have any because the ones I want are a few hundred dollars each, but from what I have seen, they are worth it. I don't need to be buying lenses for something that gets replaced every couple years.
I took about 300 frames on my recent trip-every one from my phone. I have a new Moto Edge with 3 lenses and I really like the photos. From my perspective I can now edit the photos with the same ease and clarity as I can on the Nikon.
I'm not giving up with the Nikon, there are times when it's the right choice. But the casual photos with a phone are so good now.....
Ya, I won't give up my nice camera, but my iPhone sure does come in handy.
This is really a very clear set of photographs. I have always trusted iPhone camera though so am not very much surprised.

I've never wanted to go to Vegas because of having sooo many people there and very loud in more ways than one, but I would mind seeing this place.
I have an iphone 12 and I'm not liking how it works for the camera, the pictures are nice don't get me wrong but its how to get the options that get on my nerves. When it's darker lighting it automatically does like if I was taking a night shot and I can't seem to cancel that out. I don't always want that night shot thing making it all brighter when I am looking for capturing the darker images. Most likely just me not knowing how to use the damn phone XD
I went from a Huawei to the iphone, I do like how the Huawei works better. Not comparing the camera just how to use it.
