I love spring

Spring is my favorite time of the year. The thing that I love most about it is when all the flowers begin blooming. I also love the warmer weather. I am starting to really dislike winter and want to move somewhere warmer during the winter but not as hot during the summer.

My neighborhood has a ton of cherry blossom trees in it and I love when they begin blooming. Cherry blossoms are my favorite tree, probably because of my time in Japan. I would love to plant some of these trees in my yard. I just need to find out where.

I brought my camera with me on my walk because the last time we were on a walk, the cherry blossoms had a ton of bees flying around the flowers and I wanted to get some macro shots of the bees, but the wind was blowing too hard for the bees.

The strong winds are good for something though. There were a few people at the park flying kites. When I was younger, I used to love flying kites. I always wanted to get one of those fancy kites that you control with both arms and do tricks with.

The kites looked so cool with the mountains and storm clouds behind them. I am going to get a kite next year and bring our grandson to the park and teach him how to fly it. I will have to get a tiny kite for him because he will just be a year old by then and I don't want him flying up in the air if the wind is too strong.

I love walking around the park because there are so many cool trees that grow there.

Hopefully the next time I go on a walk, the weather is better so that the bees are out. I am also getting my hummingbird feeders ready because it is almost time for the hummingbirds to return. I am so glad that winter is finally over.
