Hikers and dog walkers always leave bird food on the stone wall at the start of their walk. I think people like to pay nature back. I love it when a robin turns up as they're so photogenic.
Something scared the coal tit off. Perhaps it was the next little creature that turned up for a meal!
I think it was a little woodmouse. It just peeped over the wall and then disappeared.
A lot of people come up here to photograph this avenue of lovely, leaning beech trees. They look great when the sunshine is on them.
A few nice fungi about. I've started to think I've become that weirdo in the wood ...
The weather didn't know what it wanted to do, lovely blue sky with a dark cloud looming. We played safe and went home.

Nothing wrong with being 'that weirdo in the woods!' You got some great shots. I bet that mouse was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for sharing with us here in the community! =)
Ha ha. I will accept my weirdness! I loved that mouse. Thank you.
Embrace it... the weirdness, not the mouse! hahaha
