RE: Photos of Photos

Aww, @jlinaresp thank you for the nice words. You give me too much credit though 😜

Yes, I took the photo diagonally due to the glare and reflection. It's something I often do, because most of the times this is the only possible angle.

Sort:

Well, the result was excellent, I suppose that being a horizontal rectangular photo (I estimate 4:6 proportion) and with a vanishing point increased by the shadows of the walkers projected forward by the sun behind them, ended up making that capture that you made diagonally add even more character... Photographers often don't realize it, friend @erikah, but when we take certain types of photos very frequently (like in my case street photos and in your case photos of works of art) we end up unconsciously creating skills to take better photos and we apply them instinctively... A photographer friend of mine calls that "personal signature" I like to call it "instinct"... But usually it's someone else who notices that, not ourselves... Thanks again for sharing!

Yes, that's correct.

I wouldn't say we don't realize it. I think it's a conscious act and a normal one, because you do that so often.

A photographer friend of mine calls that "personal signature" I like to call it "instinct"...

I think it's both actually.
