An ode to rosemary flowers.

She forced me to write various haiku poems about her beauty. I hope you enjoy the poems and photographs. At the end of the post, I will reminisce a bit more about the beauty I found in these flowers and my affinity with rosemary.

An Ode to Rosemary Flowers in the Form of Haikus

a momentary
breathe yesterday's memories
we smell nostalgia

salty kisses — we
find the ocean breeze too cold
youthful ignorance

lick the memories
from your fingers when we think
about rosemary

rosemary ocean
plunge yourself in my being
naked truth — cold words

my dear please can we
forget about the past and
steep ourselves in tears

rosemary yearning
we find closure in purple
pungent remembrance

for now we are young
rosemary nostalgia — we
swim in each other

Postscriptum, Haiku = Hard

Writing haikus are interesting. It is not easy but always rewarding. I like them. They are short and concise but they carry a punch. I hope you liked the photographs and the poems.

Me and @urban.scout have an affinity with rosemary. To me it smells of the past, nostalgia, youthful days at the ocean, the wild rosemary bushes that smelled their pungent strong smell when you weave through them to get to the ocean. It always takes me back.

Nostalgia is a hard-hitting thing.
