Andromeda galaxy

Witajcie ponownie.

**
Pozdrawiam i życzę miłego dnia.

Hello again.

Today I present to you the Galaxy in Andromeda M31.

It is a galaxy similar to ours and interestingly it is approaching our Milky Way.

One day these two objects will "collide" and the shape of this and our Galaxy will change :). But calmly, the distance that separates us from M31 is about 2.5 million light years.

The photo was taken with a Canon 600D with a Canon 70-200/4 attached at a focal length of 200mm. **It is a stack of 45 photos of 120 seconds each.
**
Regards and have a nice day.

its amazing! Thanks

Thank you very much.

This is amazing! Can you take a photograph of your setup?? I'm really curious how you pulled this off with a 200mm!

The camera was mounted on the Heq5 equatorial lead

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it was not, because those things are pricey!

By the way, I see that you're just 2 months old on Hive, welcome! There are many photographers here, but you probably already have seen that since you're posting in the Photography Lovers community ^^. I'd love to learn more about astrophotography, but the prices are just a little bit beyond to make it a hobby.

Looking forward to see more of these kind of shots :)

A cheaper and equally good option is a small SW Star Adventurer mount. It's significantly cheaper and I'm great for a camera + lens set. I think the lens is up to 200mm it will manage to expose frames for 30 seconds without moving stars.

I actually found this... what a gem of a find!

I only do not know how to identify the "dark, flat, dark flat, offset-bias" RAW files in the photographs for the DeepSkyStacker software (do you happen to use that as well?).

Would be awesome to find out if this actually works for me.

It's too beautiful, I've been watching for more than 5 minutes and I still haven't developed everything, wowit's too beautiful, I've been watching for more than 5 minutes and I still haven't developed everything, woooooow

Thank you very much for such kind words.
