Hiking in the Alps, Beautiful mountain landscapes in Austria

In summer, I like to spend my time hiking and enjoying the beautiful mountain landscapes we have here in Austria, but only if it is not too hot. In August I will visit Mittersill once again for some hiking trips, and I am already looking forward to it. Also this summer it is probably better to still stay in the own country for holliday because there are still several restrictions due to the COVID Pandemic and sometimes the restrictions change very fast and it is probably easier if you stay in your country. But next year I definitely plan to travel abroad.

I know Austria has a lot to offer in terms of beautiful landscapes, nice animals, birds, rivers, mountains, cities but still I miss the Ocean a bit. This is something you cannot see here in Austria so I probably will visit Greece once again maybe next year in summer. But also other destinations where I have not been yet are on my bucket list. Maybe some nice spots in Italy but probably far away from the most touristic destinations would be also interesting. Or some nice spots in Croatia. We'll see there is still one year in between this "dreams" and a lot of things can change till then.

On this picture I really like how the light of the sun is shining on the tree but the waterfall is still in the shadow. When visiting the waterfalls, I really like to inhale the fresh Air that is ionized with the water falling down so many meters from the mountains. It is not only good for your health but also for your mental health and your soul.
