Do you ever feel that way? You find yourself going back to a location that has already supplied you with a variety of magical photographic subjects and it does it again. I just revisited my boyfriend with whom I do a large portion of my photography, and had already photographed some sparrows with. This time I had no disappointment, but I held no expectations.
These little feathered critters are such a delight to observe in their various moods. At times, seemingly staring off into nothingness, and then completely full of life and loudly attacking their chirps like there would be no tomorrow. I do like to photograph the various moods, they're so simple and lively and yet every sparrow seems to have its own charm.
I have for you a little series today that captures these moods. You see the Bird with curious looks, singing, and just observing the world.
I particularly like photo number 4. The little guy decided to turn his back on us, to especially his little sparrow-bottom! Who would have thought that sparrows could have an "attitude" like this? Anyone who calls this a rascal is a rascal. I thought it was simply fabulous and had to share it with you. It is often the little unexpected details that make a photo special.
I hope the photos put a little smile on your face. Sparrows are such cool little creatures and really remind us how much life is all around us if we just look!
