Bringing autumn for the 25th year in a row (Level up day)

How are you spending the first day of autumn? 😊

For me, it's more than just the first day of autumn because it's actually my birthday and if you've been following me for a while you should know that I'm quite discreet when it comes to sharing personal stuff or events from my personal life just because I prefer to keep my feed and blog based on my hobbies which are cooking, traveling, gaming, photography, movies, and more!

Though, since a few events happened lately and because this birthday is different from how I'd usually spend it, I thought about sharing some pictures and personal thoughts, so here we go.

The picture with the car was taken a few hours ago while I went on a walk with my boyfriend and we stopped in a park which will host some retro parties for the next 4 days.

However, I decided to share it at the beginning of this post as a quick reminder that life is never that pink as it seems, and for I, the last 2 years didn't have many pink moments either because of COVID and other family things that I will keep my mouth shut about.

Though, today is also the 4th day since I got a negative test for COVID which I returned with from my little vacation in Danube Delta that I can't wait to write about, but the less nice thing is that this is the 2nd time I get this damn virus in the last year, having it for the first time last year in October just before another planned vacation.

For more than 3 years I didn't get sick or caught any cold making me think that my immunity is pretty good until I had to deal with COVID which proved to me that I was wrong about how well my body can deal with viruses and other similar situations.

Happily, both then and now the forms were pretty easy and didn't affect me on long term with too many things other than getting exhausted more easily and having my heart jumping from 90 bpm to 170 bpm in no time but which gets down pretty fast too so I don't think I should worry too much about that.

Anyway, while in the other years my birthday was always spent somewhere in the woods with my family and friends around a campfire between tents, this time was more of a chill mode since on Sunday I'll attend the wedding of a friend and wasn't really in the mood for a party or a new journey so soon.

Turning 25 is also a good time to get aware that I already spent 1/4 of my life (in the best case) and life is too precious to spend it other than you like because you should only do what you want and don't live it as other want you to.

Though, enough with the ramblings, I'll leave attached more pictures from the park I and my boyfriend walked in and spent a while listening to music until the rain sent us home where we ordered an XXL pizza that we will enjoy while watching a movie or gaming.

Along with the retro music and vibes with all the vinyls hanging everywhere, there are also a bunch of food trucks from where you can buy both food and coffee.

Though, the organizers of this event have been thinking about everything and arranged even a fun area with a rodeo simulator and some other toys for kids where they can spend some time while their parents dance on the music that kept the radios and TVs busy 10-20 years ago. How cool is that?

I know that perhaps not many of you love autumn just because it's a pretty gray period with lots of rain instead of sunny days as summer used us with, but it's nice to always look for the good parts in everything and take advantage of these months to enjoy some very colorful landscapes in nature which get more beautiful starting with today.
