Practicing Photography Episode 1

in Photography Lovers3 years ago

Hey Hivers!

I recently bought a Fujufilm xt100 and I've been seeing stunning pictures here in Hive which really inspire me to practice any skill in photography which I maybe have. I am still familiarizing myself with the technical settings of the camera such as the ISO and other things. It's quite confusing since there's a lot that I must consider as a beginner but I have decided to just enjoy the process of learning it. (If you could give me any suggestion, it would be great, :D)

So to start this newly found hobby of mine, I took random images of things around me.

My wall fan, lol, I just captured part of it. I think it's just aesthetic if you look at it at quick glance.

Is this too obvious? It's just my window curtain. I was trying to achieve an effect of like a road but, well, you know what I mean.

I told my boyfriend that I'm gonna make him my model (oh, his face when I told him I only need his hand, haha)

I love dried plants/flowers and I also love decorating my room with it. So, of course, I'm gonna design my bedside table with it. Plus, put some scented candle and my partner's favorite book. Another aesthetic design.

To finish my practice lesson for today, I micro capture (if that's what you call it) my bath towel. LOL

Next episode, I'll post the photos of the plants around me. Stay tuned!
