We were gathered as a family, and it was burning hot, and a nephew named Jorge arrived and said, "Uncle, let's go to the river.

They all started, and we decided to go to the river for a while.

It was 10 o'clock in the morning, and we organized this whirlwind trip to the river.

The castrero is in San Juan de Los morros, Guárico state, here in Venezuela.

It is about an hour's drive from where I live here in Cagua, Aragua State.

We bought some food to prepare some soft drinks, water, ice, and some knick-knacks for the children.

We went in two cars and two motorcycles with almost the whole family, all the little kids went with me, my wife, and my father-in-law.

On the way, the kids were playing and joking around, as they say here in Venezuela.

From my house to the Castrero River is about an hour's drive; it is a privilege to have this work of nature so close.

We arrived at the beach, and there were quite a few people in the place, we parked and looked for a place where we could arrange things and where we could all be comfortable.

We stayed close to one of the wells, where we could watch the children.

Here in the river, it had rained shortly before we arrived, and the water was a little rough and the flow was stronger than usual.

Once in the place, we placed everything and proceeded to light the charcoal to make a grill, and the others were already bathing in the well.

After lighting the charcoal, my two sisters-in-law were in charge of the cooking, and I wanted to go out and visit the place to bring you some pictures of this beautiful place.

I describe this as a place that has several waterfalls and some wells where people can bathe their children on the shore because it is deep where the waterfall falls.

This beautiful place has been remodeled with stairs and some cabalistas where people can cook. Apart from the pictures, I also took some videos, but I plan to share them in 3 speak to debut in that space.

I used to go hiking a lot and I liked doing barbeques. I don't do it so much anymore but I'm starting to get back into shape and I just may go hiking to some waterfalls in our area soon. Lovely waterfall pictures.
