A short while ago I made a post about hiking in Mukri bog, you can find the post here. This is when I visited my relatives in central Estonia for a couple of days. The following day after the first bog hike we also went to another bog that is roughly in the same area but is not the same one. The name is Loosalu bog and is located in Rapla county in central Estonia.
One of my relative who did not join us this time tells us that this bog has a vibe of making people argue. This is because both times he has visited this bog with his girlfriend, they always got into argument there 😅. I have also been there two times now, the first time being many years ago but I never got into argument.
Unlike most bogs that have trails, which often have some kind of overlooking tower as well in the middle of the bog, this one doesn't.
But this bog has a huge lake in the middle, named Loosalu Lake. It's still under the Ice sheet even though the weather had been warm for a while. Photos are taken on 21-st April. We took a break near the lake and then made our way a little bit further along the lake's shoreline before turning back.
That kind of trails are my favourites! Love the nature...
